By Todd Northrop This week lottery players across the United States will be pulling out all the stops to try and win Powerball, featuring one of the largest lottery jackpots in history, worth an estimated $725 million. If you feel like it's been a long time since Powerball last had a jackpot winner you'd be right. Powerball has seen 35 consecutive drawings since April 19 , when a $252.6 million jackpot was won by a single ticket sold in Ohio. All those drawings have accumulated a mas

$1.23 BILLION: Powerball jackpot juggernaut keeps rolling
Thanks for the info. For some reason powerball.com is blocked on my computer and won't come up on my Android either. The block just ended for Mega millions. Glad no individual state held up the data/security stuff to Iowa as happens infrequently!

Iowa Lottery blames "human reporting error" for posting incorrect Powerball results
Maybe Tipton was up to his shenanigans again. I too thought the #'s were transposed electronically, not electrically (lol). On our lottery website it says not responsible for posting wrong numbers. Like I wrote to Todd Kate our lottery machines grey out on all draw games from 0200-0500 so you may not play or check #'s. Perhaps someone from Iowa could elaborate on this?

Scotland's £148M EuroMillions lottery winner no longer speaking to family after giving them £20M
Be interested to see Todd Kate's response to NY Times article that Iowa post wrong Powerball results---human error. Suspicious to me that some folks were able to 'cash in' amounts up $200 on the wrong #'s in the wee hours of the morning. That doesn't sit well with me. If they were posted incorrectly then someone entered the wrong #'s in the system. There should be electronic safeguards. Give me a break, folks cashing in the wee hours of the morning. Here the system for on-line goes off-line from

Iowa Lottery retailer accuses store manager of buying ticket he knew won $100,000
if it is not sold in time for its respective drawing, the ticket remains the property of the business that generated it. And it sure looks like McVicker scanned and then bought the ticket after the drawing. One would think after the Tipton adventures, people would learn not to mess with the Iowa Lottery.

California man claims winning $2.04 billion Powerball lottery ticket was stolen from him
The ticket has a time stamp and probably one on the video too. It's similar to the Iowa store video showing someone that looked a lot like Eddie Tippon purchasing a lottery ticket at the exact time and place the winning ticket was sold. The lawsuit doesn't say if Rivera even knows Castro but does say he doesn't know Reggie's last name. The judge will probably be confused too.
