Arkansas Lottery Natural State Jackpot climbs to record $500,000
As you know it bumped up some more. Did you see the article that the KLC had record sales? Due to mainly scratch tickets. My response on FB: Paraphrasing myself Yeah, on 13 APR 2020 KLC got rid of mechanical ball drawings on Pick 3/4 as well as Cashball 225...wonder how much revenue was lost there?

Lottery ticket sold in Illinois wins $560 million Mega Millions jackpot
IDK what retailers think. Seems about 50/50 in the store, some go to clerk, others lotto machine. In KY when on line started they were restrictive. You still cannot say play Pick 3 or Pick 4 for both drawings. What is meant by that it has no button for both draws, so you just do it individually. Just a few weeks ago they added Double Play to Powerball for on line. It saddens me somewhat that big lotto states you can't play on line. Correct me if wrong, I know home state of MA=NO, CA=NO a

Alabama Lottery bill falls short by one vote
They have so-so Indian casinos there. The one time I went to the one on I 65 N side of the road this seasoned casino player noticed something awry. It was a huge circular casino and over and over again they'd announce 'another jackpot winner'. Didn't take me long to realize that was fake, there were no winners. Nobody screaming, no payout folks anywhere to be seen. Granny Governor there needs to be put out to pasture. If and a big IF they ever get this to the voters would hope they'd fo

Texas Lottery Executive Director Gary Grief announces retirement
I admire him sticking it out as long as he did. Remember some politicians wanted to get rid of the lottery altogether! They draw pick 3 or Pick 4 four times/day except for Sundays. Are there Indian tribes in Texas? If so, they could open their own casinos like they have in other states where casinos aren't necessarily legal...Alabama for one...and still no lottery there!

Virginia Lottery launches new Pick 5 draw game
Fireball option returns By Kate Northrop Today, the Virginia Lottery launched its latest draw game Pick 5. Virginia residents can pick up tickets for the Lottery's newest game starting today for a chance to win a prize of up to $50,000. The popular game, like Pick 3 and Pick 4 in the Lottery's repertoire, also features the Fireball add-on, which gives players another chance to win by creating additional number combinations. This is also the first game the Virginia Lottery has eve

Nebraska Lottery to make changes to Pick 5 game
The Pick 5 jackpot currently stands at $50,000 and the odds of winning the jackpot from 1 in 501,942 . And with the odds increasing to 1 in 658,008, saying doesn't sound like an upgrade to me is an understatement. They only have two state drawn games and both are computer drawings. Their pick 3 game pays $600, better than most, and better than their pick 5 odds of 1 in 3,042 to win $450.

Maryland man wins third $50,000 Pick 5 lottery prize in less than a year using same numbers
Was in line behind a guy cashing a 50 cents straight/box ticket and asked the clerk to replay it. When I asked, the clerk said lots of people play the same numbers back . Not sure if I'd play a 100,000 to 1 pick 5 combo even a year later, but people do it. After changing how they draw the results, all the past drawing data is useless so while he played the same combo, it was similar to playing it in another state. We don't have the game in KY so I've never checked the repeat data. Possibly s

One Illinois lottery ticket wins $1.337 billion Mega Millions jackpot
Surprised no one commented on the fine print. Illinois law says if you win over $250K you can remain anonymous BUT if FOIA is used, they are legally bound to tell the name and city of the person. Darned if you do, darned if you don't. Reading that it would make me get a trust Attorney to cash it in. Like others, would love to know if it was a QP or not. If we didn't have that crappy RNG here I'd play both the store # and the address on Pick 4/pick 3 respectively!

Michigan Lottery celebrates 50th Anniversary with release of $50 scratch-off ticket
It seems interesting that your pick 3 and pick 4 are drawn four times/day EXCEPT Sundays. Guess that's to appease certain folks? Anyway LP says you guys still have Mechanical Ball Drawings. Ours changed to crappy RNG and you should see the LOW payouts--especially pick four. We have a similar problem with the Legislature not voting for sports betting again last session. I think KY has six 'gaming' sites, and like stack47 and myself say, the machines look and act just like regular slot machines
