Could they do that (dropping out of Powerball and joining Euro Millions)? Boy, that would stir the pot! There'd be hundreds of hours of enjoyment watching the flack!

New Mexico Lottery still looking for $93 million Powerball winner
In my example above, you also don't make your $100,000 until the year is over, even though you claim to make $100,000. IMHO, it's just basic financials, and totally above-board, although I can certainly see how people could feel how you do. I personlly have no problem with the way they advertise the jackpot, because they naturally want to put the best spin on it. However, I do like the UK Lotto and Euro Millions prizes better, because they are all cash, with no taxes taken out.

$93.4 million Powerball lottery winner is New Mexico's third
Don't start thinking that you need to get with a group. It doesn't really change your odds too much. A couple of recent winners have been groups, but it's the minority. The largest jackpot winners in every game I know of have been solo players.Take, for example, the latest Euro Millions winner - the largest European lottery winner ever. Single Mom.And don't EVER make the mistake of playing with one of those lottery syndicate web sites out there. Never, never, never.

War Dampens Indiana's Hope of International Lottery
The way Euro Millions does it (because they have different currencies involved) is that the standard price is set at 2 Euros. Both France and Spain use this price, but the UK sells the tickets in Pounds. Every month the UK has the option of adjusting the price (currently 1.50 Pounds). On the prize side of things, only the jackpot is shared among the member countries. For the lower-tier prizes, each country awards their own prize amounts, based on sales within the country, plus the number of wi
