You're correct. Florida law does allow a winner to temporarily claim anonymously for 90 days. It's also possible to set up a trust and have a lawyer claim a large prize with a trust. In KY, when checking the same type of pick 4 win, scanners and kiosks will show the amount won and to suggest taking the ticket to a cashing agent.
