The Math and The Lottery
lchoro -But IF there is a bias such as you mention it's going to be the wiseguys , the analysts, who find it. And it's only those who utilize hot/hot or cold/cold trending who can and will use that bias to their advantage. It won't be the Quick-Pick player. But let's face it. With lottery payout percentages falling generally between 50% and 60%, you'd have to find some sort of bias to tilt the odds of winning almost 2 to 1 in order to have a chance at long-term profits. And that just doesn't

Some new results on some old techniques.
The July 2, 2013 eve draw for NC. 6-7-6 for the pick 3 and 3-5-9-2 for the pick 4. Just gonna run thru this kinda quick. There is 7-9 over 7-9 that comes from the 18 times that 0 and 1 both showed up in the chart to the right. 7 showing, 9 negative opposite of 6, 9 negative opposite of 6. I see a BUNCH of 7's in BG thru BQ 25 thru 29 also. With some 3's and 9's involved. But here is where I kinda left off earlier before heading out for the evening and wanted to get back into exami

Some new results on some old techniques.
Alright, gonna up a few posts here real quick, then I gotsta head out. Gonna be late enough as it is when I get to get home and get back at it. Just ognna show with a small description. This was the workout for the draws here yesterday. The only, what I'd call a pattern, was under Y thru AB rows 82 down. For the Pick 3 anyway. The spacing for the 4's and 9's there. You can see the 5 and 1 with both of them in each corner linking one to the other. For the Pick 4 now, that's a little differe

Some new results on some old techniques.
Sorry, I had to take a little Powerball break and get that stuff finished up. I also DL'd the open office, but have no idea how to start writing in it just yet. I did find a converter that will take excel files and switch them into the open office. I gotta figure out how to use it to though. I almost have some books made up for the 4 draw and a full months worth of day to eve draws finished. I did manage to get 2 out of 5 on the 16th's PB drawing with just using the even odd charts i have made u

(New member) Have any of you broken down a keno game?
I have not spent a lot of time trying to convert patterns to visualizations. I don't find them very helpful in this endeavor as all they do is confirm visually what I already know from the math. In NY that game is the same as Quick Draw. I downloaded a half million results just to have them, but haven't made any use of them given that the 7000 plus Pick 10 drawings that I have are more than sufficient for my purposes. After all of the research that I have done I have determined that I can

(New member) Have any of you broken down a keno game?
(After quick look at NY lottery... You're talking Pick 10, yes? I've been leaning toward hexadecimal for a while- so that I'm only picking 20 from 0-F... Then trying to make rules as to frequency and behavior. And I made a numbering algorithm, so that I can put in a full 20 digit sequence, and get its location ID or vice versa. (1,2...19,20 would be location ID 1. 61,62,...79,80 would be last possible combination 3535316142212174319.)

Daily and Evening Pick 3 and 4 draw similarities.
Hello gtpapi987, I guess it's gonna be a bit on some of these. There are a lot of states that don't have an excel download of all the draws. I got a PRO on here that's helping with that though. He's a lot more experienced with excel than I am and luckily has all draws with all states already. He has sent me the pick 3 draws for the states and when he gets time to send me the 4 draws, I'll work a set up real quick. It doesn't take long to fill them all into these books, when I get all the data

Some basic math formulas applied to pick3/pick4
Thanks for the idea. I don't see the reason for using the mirror instead of just using Xn and Xc, its just a static exchange to me. Perhaps you can clarify. Anyway, FYI a quick check of CA pick 3 in over 1500 draws (just using Xc-Xn etc seems to produce k1=k2=k3 delta only 0.63% of the time. The other thing is if we average k1,k2,k3 for these, they are all =0, meaning that the +/- k's all average out for those draws. Indicating that it's almost perfectly random.

New Pick One Gaming Concept
Thanks for the information. I am from a Caribbean island and I work for the Lotteries Authority here so we are trying derive a game, a quick cash game from a local card game we have here. This local game is illegal and is mainly played in back Alleys. The game is played like this The dealer buys the deck of card and shuffles, someone else buys a cut of the cards and then the dealers lays out two cards. The first card is the dealer's and the second the cutter's, the remaining cards ar

Statistics around the balance of even/odd and small/big numbers
RL CT Why would the lotteries care about anything you mentioned above or for that matter why would anyone. While it is true that most people pick five or six numbers to build each set they play and may include many different digits, odd numbers, even numbers, High numbers, low numbers and any other type of number or information they think may be useful or better in some way verses a quick-pick, I don't see a problem with this. From quite a few discussions on this board, es
