Quantum Physics
Some of you, based on this thread of conversation, might be interested in reading The Nature of Personal Reality by Jane Roberts, and also some of her other books, which are known as Seth books. Seth was a channeled entity who spoke about how we create our own realities. --through our thoughts and beliefs, and not through dumb luck. Is he right? I don't know. When I see what sure looks like random numbers and winners in the lottery, I doubt it. Yet at other times, it sure SEEMS like

Do statistics trump all other forms of math where lotteries are concerned?
That remains to be seen. But at least the subject matter belongs in the math forum math as it relates to lotteries , as opposed to the Mystical Forum Statistics as a doctrinal religion applied to lotteries .

Anyone here a mathematician? Question on the number 68
Yes I do care because I had a dream (posted in Mystical) which seems to stump everyone cause no one can tell me what it means or even offer an opinion of what it means. The number 68 was in my dream and I can't figure out why so I was trying to do my own research on it.

Consecutive numbers in the Pick 6 lottery have surprisingly high probability but still < 50%
In the math forum, we usually do the calculations so that we don't have to rely on how something sounds or feels . Try the mystical section.

Hexadecimal System for picking pick 3
The hexadecimal system is just another way of counting. The numbers themselves don't change. So I can't see why it matters how you do the math in predicting lottery numbers. The only problem: The human mind has trouble with other than base 10 systems, so it just looks more mystical and sophisticated. Hot air, I say.

Megaball prediction
I agree that the probabilities of a particular vs. any number are different. I'm supposing you looked at the data (322 draws) and observed a particular ball that was drawn 26 times. However, there would have been no rational basis, before seeing the data, to predict that specific ball would appear more than any other. That's why my perspective is, if you are looking for evidence of bias, you have consider any ball. I also agree that coincidences, or unusual occurrences, happen all the ti

Vortex Math Nikola Tesla
You're right about most of this mystical math stuff being completely base dependent, and there is nothing special about 10 other than ingrained convention. I did this double-and-sum-digits process in base-12 starting with 1 and got another neat pattern. You need to use some symbols for ten and eleven in base-12, so I chose A and B which are standard in computer science to be consistent with hexadecimal. Check it out: 1 1x2 = 2 2x2 = 4 4x2 = 8 8x2 = 14 in base-12, 1+4 = 5 5x2 =
