Number Of Combinations For This Unusual Game?
The game is for the State of Oregon and is called Lucky Lines. It consists of a grid like Tic Tac Toe, the center square is free and can be used for the diagonal lines, the center vertical, and the center horizontal rows and columns. Each square has 4 possible numbers for a total of 32 used in the game. Each draw will choose one number in each of the 8 squares for a total of 8 drawn numbers. According to statistics, in 649 lottery how many strings of 6 combinations we need to have to guarantee 3 ball match prize? Isn t it 163 lines? But if we would have played the USA last Wed draws and the Saturday before that which is about 40 lines of 6 numbers we would have had several match 3s and match 4!
