Fun question for the math guys, yes its a beauty??
I must say I am loving this Combinations Analysis for Pick 3 tool, I have been working on a hot number so to speak idea for a little while I gave up on Pick Three a few years ago but have decided because of the great tools here on Lotterypost to maybe see if I can profit a bit since I do play on the nett and have the ability to play all 74 lottery games in one click..............I will not mention the venue. It seems if I play the HOT NUMBERS for the last 48 hours is a good thing, kind of

How far away is a P3 combo from a triple?
We made an Excel file you can use to put the Lottery Post's Combinations Analysis into. https://members.lotterypost.com/jadelottery/images/ComboAnalysis-00.zip First, get your data from the Combinations Analysis page and just select the data under the headers. Next, copy and paste into Notepad; this will reformat the data for pasting into Excel. Select and Copy all the text in Notepad. Now, open the Excel file and select the cell right of the 0 Index.

Mathematics and the Lottery
I'm just saying that Trend analysis can be good to those who are willing to give it a try. Are you sure other players aren't using trends to pick combinations to play too, just different trends than you use? For example, when all past 334 MM drawings since its last matrix change are sorted into an ascending order, 90% of the numbers in column one are 1-25, in column two are 7-41, in column three are 17-54, in column four are 31-68 and in column five are 49-75. 31% of the time all five

Pick 3/4 Meter Made Math Moves
That's certainly the best I can come up for in reply to a message which contained nothing but a waving flag. I did post some actual code so other people can confirm that in fact my analysis was correct and such gap lengths are common in a 15000 draw sequence. I'd be happy to look at your code where you claim it doesn't find long gaps to be common as it is clear you are doing something wrong. My conclusion is that there is no flaw in the drawings, what you noticed is not unusual.

In Need of Some Math Help Calculating Number Combinations
In a thread in the strategies section entitled Pick by Split I posted a method that I use to pick numbers that is based on dividing the numbers into two group multiple times and then choosing the number of digits that would make up the winning combination from each side. Here is a screen shot of what the application looks like: I mostly use this method for Keno and there are 184,756 combinations of 10 digits per drawing. It takes roughly 12 minutes of processing time per thousand records

Pick 3, Pick 4 math please help
I've been posting generic standard sets in PICK 3 and PICK 4.No analysis of previous draws. It's mostly based in the Law of Averages and Standard Distribution Sampling Theory. It's something I've been working on that is also related to JADE Lottery System Generator's process for creating the base set of combinations in the application.

The Math and The Lottery
I've read several times that two third of lottery winners used quick picks, so it's obvious that most winners don't use any type of analysis at all and do just fine. I have programs that I wrote myself to track lotteries and pick the combinations to play base on that data, but I do that because it makes playing the lotteries and losing my money more entertaining. I matched 5of6 in the Ohio649 lottery two years ago, but I credit that to luck because I haven't done it again and I'm still using my
