Very nice, G5! We've seen many of those free QP's turn into jackpots quite recently. I missed the free number! My lottery money for the week has gone to JTP and I bought 1 Powerball ticket today. I did terrible on JTP last night, not even 3 numbers on a line. I'll try again Friday as it's at a million. And don't forget about the FL Lottery Daily Doubler promotion. You can enter FF5 tickets. Again no jackpot winner in JPT last night! Cant believe there aren't enough combo's being sold so as to provide enough coverage to produce a winner. Even with that JPT promotion to win an instant ten bucks and still no winner of the 2 million?? I was sure that somebody would have won it by now FF5 had two winners last night and combined the jackpot was just under 200K. Lately total Saturday jackpot amounts are a little over 200K. Congrats to you AND me! I played 3 lines...won 2 free tickets and $9.50. I played 9 17 23 25 33. Just noticed we both had 23! Wow. We were thinking alike! I also won 2 free Cash Pop tickets from the promotion. So that theory about playing on Sunday instead of Saturday.......not saying it doesn't make sense, but man this weekend was a bad example! And I've been to that RaceTrac on LPGA Blvd in Daytona Beach...just not on August 28th!

I just looked at Cash 5. I cant believe its over 1 million again. It makes you realize how fleeting the jackpot really is. We never hear about how many people tried and failed to win. Just the all hype and promotion of winners on the NCEL website. But will we soldier on. It's not that I think The NY Lottery is reading this forum but............ The newly designed website is unimpressive. I wasn't thrilled with the design of their previous website either, but it seems to me that they went from fair to poor with this iteration. A buy five get one free Take5 promotion started yesterday. Just saw on the NY Lottery website there's a Take5 promotion every day in June... Buy 10 bucks on one ticket get two FP's.... What that really means is you have to buy 5 lines for two days. Or you could tell the clerk Gimme 10 dollars QP T5 and that'd work too. (I think/hope) G5

My pleasure Mama! As for me, I never rely on a clerk, no matter which of the five boroughs they work in. Most players don't use a bet slip because they like the convenience of buying QP's, so they don't even need one. In defense of clerks, they probably never look at a bet slip, they just run it through the machine. And they don't do that very much either, because 75% of all tickets sold are QP's. Thanks... I think I got lucky is all that happened. I bought the promotion on Friday while I was in Brooklyn and last nite was the second day that my ticket was good for. No first place winners last nite, so by having 35 and not 36, I missed out on 918 bucks......
