I bought a few powerball tickets for tonight, I'm currently in Oklahoma on business and got a few here, I do know there is a Powerplay and a double play in Florida with Powerbal and it is a $4 ticket...but here in Oklahoma they don't do double play with Powerball, but they do the powerplay......when I went to buy a powerball ticket I asked the lady for a powerplay and double play on my Powerball tickets and told her it was a $4 ticket she got a little upset saying no such thing as double play. Not that anybody cares, but I thought I'd share my thoughts on playing PowerBall. I don't play the game very often because the odds are ridiculous. I picked the five numbers myself and marked the QP box on the playslip for the PowerBall number. All five PowerBall numbers on the ticket were different, but the first five numbers of each line were identical. G5

I think I might do something soon that I've done in the past. (It's due to the fact that I wrote above about the guy buying five identical lines on his Sweet Million ticket) I might buy a PowerBall ticket with 5 identical lines on it and add The Power Play option. PowerBall Power Play number was X10 last night. Two players had four numbers plus the PowerBall and won $500,000 each as a result. Normal payout for 4 + 1 is $50,000 but the x10 PowerPlay number makes it $500,000. G5

1.9 million for a buck in JTP would definitely be an amazing win for just a buck. Too bad it takes a while for the jackpot to get to that level. I've done something in the past with PowerBall that I basically gave up doing, but maybe I'll start doing it again with the $$$ I was previously spending on FF5. It's NOT cheap, but if I'm not spending any money on FF5 I can afford it. And best of all, I can do it in any PB drawing. I dont have to wait for the JTP jackpot to max out at two million.

Rolldown with the JPT drawing last night. The FF5 numbers were a little weird too. I only had one Free Ticket working last night..didn't win a dime. I bought $15 of PowerBall yesterday - that's the reason why I didn't play FF5. I bought five identical lines of PB, but used a different number on each line for the PowerBall. I also added The Power Play option therefore my ticket has five lines on it where the first five numbers are exactly the same so it cost me 15 bucks to play what amounts

The fact that JPT's maximum jackpot has rolled over five or six times even with a promo in place tells me that Florida lottery players just dont have much interest in the game, and they probably aren't paying attention to the advertised jackpot either. I understand why they feel that way especially when JPT is at its lower jackpot amounts.
