South Carolina's billion dollar mega millions ticket
Conundrum: A question asked for amusement, typically one with a pun in its answer; a riddle. The same folks that didn't Win, whine about not being able to remain anonymous where they buy their Lottery Tickets, are the first ones that want to know every thing about the person that did Win!

South Carolina's billion dollar mega millions ticket
Why rehash old news? Remaining anonymous when you win the lottery can only be done in six U.S. states: Delaware, Kansas, Maryland, North Dakota, Ohio and South Carolina.

Billlion-dollar Jackpot for PB
I'd only really want to beat her record if I played in an anonymous state. Was looking up the FL hq and the way it is set up is a looooong walk to visitor parking, perfect for media waylaying types. And you have to claim in Tallahassee apparently, no driving to some far away claim center like you can in NY where you can claim in Manhattan, Schenectady or, which one winner did, up in the Fishkill region. And the cherry on top: I think you have to call ahead and make an appointment.

Lucky for Life
OK, just got back from Delaware...in for the next 10. Also bought a PB while I was there, since it's an anonymous state.

Megamillions winning ticket
Honestly stay anonymous . When the person is ready then it's up to them if they want to come out. That is my advice because if the person's smart enough with the principal and interest is and I wanted to ask my father specific question on this website. Someone mention that somebody wanted to do the annuity and that was dumbfounded and I asked my father and my father's answer was we don't know about the person we don't know what their tax structure is or anything and it's sad that pe

1.5 billion Powerball or more for Thanksgiving 2016?
When the three winning tickets were sold as in CA the people were very smart and wise not to come out but stay anonymous which is awesome. The news camera pin pointed a house that claimed where these people lived at and left unnoticed. Good for them and good for their privacy. Hey who knows if I can pick the correct wins for this lottery and win one for my deceased dad.

If anyone were to win one of the major jackpots
I think people only say that because it's all they know. Fact of the matter is no one is gonna take anyone's workplace bs that has 50 million in the bank. And besides most states don't let you be anonymous so in truth its safest to move if you own your home. Then you have to deal with co-workers treating you differently and Lord knows what else. Since I didn't win mega millions I'm definitely going back to work tomorrow. ...sigh...

Don't You Find It Interesting?
No not really, they DECREASED the odds by adding balls not increased the odds. So of course it is going to be a lot harder. With more interest and the billion dollar hype even more people played, thus raising the jackpot even more and kept compounding from there both in plays and the jackpot amount. Nothing miraculous about it as 3 winners won, as finally most or all of the combinations wee bought. Also won by all who will be revealed eventually. Would have been more interesting if it went to $2

Powerball Jackpot
As high as it is, and how hyped up it is, anonymity will go out the window. HUGE public out cry and even politicians will get involved. The person may screw things up for everyone wanting to stay anonymous or use trusts, etc. I think it would be best to just get it over with. Do a few news interviews and disappear for a long time. Like middle of nowhere,Montana disappear. Also, it'd be best to wait on coming forward until there's another huge to semi huge jackpot. That way most people won't be a

Do you think that it will be possible for the PB Jackpot Winner to ...
remain anonymous even if he or she claims their winnings through a trust? I imagine there will be a greater amount of public interest in who wins the largest jackpot.
