I live in South Carolina where winners can remain anonymous. With that in mind, I like to buy my tickets in SC. I work as a 48 state truck driver. I'm hardly ever in SC while I'm working. Even before the Powerball matrix had changed earlier this month, it was difficult to win any significant amount of money in the Powerball game, let alone the jackpot grand prize. The odds are now 1 in 292,201,338.00! Not only that, but the game is totally random! I honestly believe that will never be a guaranteed way to beat the lottery. I would love to remain anonymous, but the only legal person I trust is actually a family member...So, there-in lies my dilema. I know for a fact that I would NEVER NEVER NEVER tell my parents. I think all of a sudden, my husband would just have a really good promotion where we would have to move away.

I don't know exactly on the cash option, but it will be worse than the Mega percentage. Mega is a 26 year annuity and Classic Lotto is a 30 year deal, they say roughly half but I bet it's probably nearly exactly half. But on the upside you can be anonymous and win it. Hope you get it if I don't.

Great article. However, I would still remain anonymous for the sake of peace of mind and so that you won't be targeted by the media. Don't forget that this guy lives in a small town in IDAHO!!!
