PB $101.7 Million cash
Unless there was a statistical aberration, I think sales are back up, because there were over 1 million tickets that won a cash prize in Wednesday night's drawing. There was also another $1 million PowerPlay prize won, this time in Pennsylvania.

Hi Ohio! I'm your new Lottery Director.
Lotto South starts at $2 million. My mistake, CASH Only. I should learn to proofread before I hit the submit button.NY Lotto does not deserve any praise.I've never had the chance to play the lottery in NY, but I would have to say that my least favorite state lottery is Pennsylvania. I just didn't like many of the games PA had. Great state, mediocre lottery.

Mega Millions - State Matters
I buy Mega Millions in New Jersey, and I live in Pennsylvania. Neither state charges income tax on lottery winnings. I'm in a pretty good situation.

Powerball/Mega Milions Jackpots
If I am not going to win 10Million or not going to win 20Million, I'd rather go for the 20Million.... BUT, not at the expense of a forced $2 ticket...$10,000,000 would work for me... If they change it they might go Pennsylvania on us and up the price of admission.

I've got 2-4-6-23-26-27-31-41-53 in my mix tonight, including a QP, which I never buy. Picked them up in Pennsylvania earlier today...what a rainy drive back to CT! Time to work on my new game: CT Cash 5.

MUSL; ME-NH-VT considering Match 6 clones
Both MUSL and the Tri-State Lotto Commission (ME, NH, VT) are considering games similar to the Pennsylvania Match 6 game. Both proposals are planned for the first half of 2005.The three-state game would replace Tri-State Megabucks, while it's unclear whether any of the current MUSL games would be affected.

1 PB winner in PA
Quote: Originally posted by weshar75 on May 09, 2004Congrats to Pennsylvania on the big jackpot win. That is 4 jackpot winners is less than 2 years of existance in Powerball and from all those winning tickets it looks like they will continue this win streak for a long time.It only makes sense. Pa has the biggest population of any Powerball player states.I have'nt checked my tickets yet. Whats the hurry? I'll check them in a couple of days.Chas
