Curious about PowerBall and Mega Millions
Here in Arizona, there is the Pick 6 (6/44), the Pick 5 (5/35), and the Pick 3 (3/10). I know that the Pick 6 and the Pick 5 are ball driven, not computer generated. And the Pick 6 and Pick 5 have 4 different ball sets, each, with a ball set picked at random at drawing time (I assume, but how exactly are they picked at random?). And are the balls weighed and measured? Do the balls have to met certain specs? I assume that the situation is similiar with the Pick 3, but then again I don't know.

Question for JADELottery a LP member about their picks...
Numbers for MM 2007-03-27 : 18 25 34 35 42 - 6 Exclusion of all numbers changed the Pick 5 probability from pick 5 of 56 (1 in 3,819,816) to pick 5 of 37 (1 in 435,897) and the Pick 1 probability from pick 1 of 46 (1 in 46) to pick 1 of 38 (1 in 38). The total probability changed from (1 in 175,711,536) to (1 in 16,564,086). Inclusion of all would have been, Pick 5 (1 in 11,628) and Pick 1 (1 in 8); total (1 in 93,024).

They are Increasing the PB Odds Again, How Lame
A game can always be made whereby a simple pick 6 with lower odds (such as 6/42) plays ONLY when its jackpot is over $20 million. This way the people aren't punished by making their terrible odds worse. The only thing is that there may be as many as 5 or 10 winners sometimes, but that would be just wonderful these days. I would rather see 5 winners than NO winners. This is another suggestion that you can all email your political representatives. They are the law-makers. To

good strategy for pick 6 wheel
Congratulations on your wins, Tungsten Chef. I would like to put my 2 cents (Canadian?) worth in. When I predict here on LP, predicting for Pick 5 or Pick 6 I normally use a high guarantee like 5 if 6 for Pick 6 and 4 if 5 for Pick 5. That is only because I'm trying for the big win on Lottery Post! In real life that is not what I play. I like the smaller guarantees. If you have the money, for a Pick 6 you can play a 5if5/14 for 371 tickets or 4if4/19 for 325 tickets. The trick, of c

Prime Numbers
The real pattern that I've noticed over time, regardless of my screwed up total on my spreadsheet, is more often than not it is always good to pick 1 or 2 prime numbers in the Powerball, MegaMillions, Cash5 type games, Match 6 type games, and 1-30 type games. Powerball had 19 and 67 last night, MegaMillions had 3 and 23 in Friday's draw, PA Cash 5 had 2, 17, and 23 last night, PA Match 6 had 3 and 41 last night, and 1-30 PA Treasure Hunt had 5 and 17 yesterday. I've tried other things wi
