question about new power and mega changes
I sort of agree with that thought, but the way I look at it, the job of the big multi-state games is not to make lots of people rich, it's to create enormous jackpots. In my opinion, the role of individual state Pick 6 lotto games is to make several people rich, not MM or PB. If a state is too small to consistently generate $1 million+ jackpots, then a few states should band together, and LOTTO South is the perfect example of that. This is also the reason that I firmly believe every state shoul

42 Chances at Powerball $39

OT: Why is PA dragging its heels on replacing Super-6 ?? CASH,The only reason I can think of, on why PA is dragging out the death of Super 6, is because of the Pick 6 Lotto in NJ. Ever since NJ joined Mega Millions their Pick 6 jackpot starts at $1 Mil and grows $500K every drawing (like Super 6 is now). Occasionally the NJ Pick

New England's Lucky For Life.
I like that DE is getting this game but will only play as a 'fun' game as the odds/payouts really kinda suck. But that seems to be the way of things lately all the big multi-state games are upping the number of balls and making it harder to hit. So a 'for-fun' only game

Illinois $14,500,000
Yes, I am playing the Illinois Lotto until someone (hopefully me) wins the jackpot. The game is also a bargain: 2 plays for $1. For those who don't know, the Illinois lotto is a 6/52 game, and you win by matching 6, 5, 4, or 3 numbers. Match 6 of 6 for the jackpot (duh) Match 5 of 6 for a pari-mutuel prize averaging $1000 per ticket Match 4 of 6 for a pari-mutuel prize averaging $33 per ticket Match 3 of 6 for a fixed prize of $3 per ticket I've got the following 2 sets of numbers for

PA Super Six is going away...
We really should probably withhold judgement until we see the actual posted odds from the PA Lottery and really get a chance to digest the rules.Frankly, I applaud the PA Lottery for trying unusal rules with it's games. As a PA player I feel like I have a choice in the different types of games we can play. Cash 5 is a very good 5/39 game. Powerball is the best multi-state game (in my opinion). And while I wasn't a big fan of Super 6, I did like the 3 plays for a $1 concept. Something that appear

Michigan's Winfall
smd: Yes, MUSL had a Rolldown . There is a major difference between Rolldown and WINFALL. In Rolldown, all the prize money was distributed after each drawing. WINFALL will have a jackpot (don't know what the minimum will be) that is capped at $5 million. Why Rolldown (replaced by Hot Lotto ) failed is a good question. Maybe people expect a multi-state game to have a JACKPOT instead of a limited top prize. If PA hasn't decided yet on a new game (are they waiting for Rendell?) they still shoul

A Question About the Mega Millions Game
History Of The Game Mega Millions, the game that holds the record for the largest jackpot in North American history, began on August 31, 1996 as the Big Game. The first drawing took place on September 6, 1996, with six states participating: Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan and Virginia. After exciting growth of the game in 1997, a Tuesday drawing was added in February 1998. Players were given a larger choice of numbers and a cash payout option in January 1999. In May 19

Lucky for Life
I have seen the same problem. The Multi State lottery now controls it and picks the numbers with RNG. The Delaware Lottery only shows when someone wins somewhere on their site report now, but it doesn't say where the win occurred. I am intending to send in a complaint about this. I loved this game when it was a ball drawn game and won often as the lower tier prize structure is very good, but find it difficult to win since the change to RNG was made.

New York, Pennsylvania, Indiana, Virginia, Tennesee, Maryland and Georgia are the other states where the game is played.
