Anonymous winner in Indiana!
Whoa! This blew my mind! Here is a press release from the Hoosier Lottery:
A representative for the Boulon Revocable Trust claimed the $6.5 million Hoosier Lotto jackpot from the March 4 drawing. The winner elected to take the cash option worth $3.2 million. The prize was claimed March 10. The jackpot winning ticket was purchased at Speedway #6140 at 5221 S. Emerson in Indianapolis.
This is the first time I have ever seen an anonymous winner in Indiana. This person not only has their

Who will badger you when you win?
I didn't vote, because if I ever won the lottery in a state where I could become anonymous, no one would be able to harass me, because they wouldn't know anyway.

Then I would have the foundation help my family and friends a

PowerBall Drawing for 10/09/04
I think it's great that someone won from Delaware. Should be interesting to see if they execise their option to remain anonymous.

I think that some states actually give out the name and personel information of the jackpot winners. This helps with the publicity by actually putting a name and locale to where the money is going. It might also serve the public in some manner by insuring that the lottery isn't getting looted by insiders. I couldn't ever see giving my name out to the papers, so they could announce to the world that I was rich. After looking on the Powerball sight I noticed that someone that won in Washington D.C

Mega Millions 12/17/2002
cash-o-matic, gas is cheap here ($1.08 gal.), but not cheap enough. i live about 3 - 4 hrs from the south carolina border. jackpot is not big enough (yet) to warrant that far of a drive. i moved here from calif in june of 97 so i missed the powerball. i don't know exactly when it changed over, i just remember hearing people complain about it. i will be patient and wait till mega-millions gets to that 500+ in march 2003 like you said. then rebecca paul and i will do some sort of celebration dance
