Hey Todd,Have you ever considered having a Files download page.You would review all files for approval such as Excel and offer them as Free downloads ifanyone was interested.For example if I sent you an Excel file with all the Sums and Roots for Pick 3.I realize some folks won't have a full version of Excel but the can get Excel Viewer.Thanks, Seconding your motion Steve

An EXCEL forum would be great
Many of us are using EXCEL to develop systems of our own. Many members are beginning to use EXCEL and need some tutoring on formulas, structures, analysis tools, etc. It would be nice if we could use this forum to share ideas and processes. Obviously, it may not be appropriate to call it EXCEL because that is a brand name. However, what about a spreadsheet forum to discuss the things mentioned above. Floridian

What's the best way of getting an excel spreadsheet on the LP? I've tried a direct cut and paste, moved it to the notepad, tried MS WORD....but when I go to post it, it either reformates so that it's unreadable or take at all...HELP!

Mike,I see your plight when trying to compute the standard deviation using Excel. As you already know, Excel uses an unstable numeric algorithm to determine the standard deviation in a set of data. Not to mention a round-off error.Not relying on the flawed algorithms in Excel. I have devised my own method for computing the standard deviation of both small and large sets of data in the 3 and 4-Digit Lottery. Post/Edit Box Feature
If you are looking for a feature that would take a random table from some other source or website and then transform it into a perfectly-designed table within the Lottery Post forums, I'm afraid that such a tool does not exist anywhere. Even high-end software like Excel struggles with that. It's just beyond the scope of what a website forum can handle. Your best bet is to either paste it as plain text and then re-format, or else paste in Excel, clean it up in there, and then paste from Excel in

Post/Edit Box Feature
There is a way to automatically clean up formatting in pasted text. Click the Past as Plain Text button, and anything you paste into the box will have the formatting removed. Also, you can set the Paste as Plain Text to be the default setting in the editor in the Account Settings page (Options menu).
