For you IL players, whats your favorite scratch off game?
I play mostly Mega Millions and Little Lotto altho I have spent probably around $200 last year on the Win to Life instants. Is it me or there are not many prizes in those? I use to really like LUCKY 7's but havent seen that in awhile. Good news is I just picked up an Instant tix as it was on top of the garbage can in front of my Lotto store and it was a winner ($10) - not sure why the person threw it out ! I would like to at least win $500 ONCE to recoup my money :)

Florida Raffle Ticket $10 with 7 (700,000) Prizes
A friend of mind just called and said The raffle must not be selling because the cashier asked me if I wanted to buy one and I said no thank you . Then she saw the sign that said If the cashier does not tell you about the raffle, you get a free sunny money scratch-off . It is worse than we thought. Florida lottery needs an immediate reorganization plan. ...rambling on I was checking some other states lotteries website and realized Florida lottery needs a shake-up. Do you know in New York if y

Florida Raffle Ticket $10 with 7 (700,000) Prizes
I agree... BTW I was in GA getting Mega Millions tickets a couple weeks ago and bought a new scratch off there called $3 Mill Taxes paid. The actual (after tax) amount for the Top Prize was $3,000,000. I thought that was pretty cool that the advertised Top Prizes was the actual After tax amount . The actual winnign amount was something like $4.5 Mill before tax I think all scratchers should be like that

yea man buying one ticket at a time has been pretty profitable so far lol, I suggest you try the same.. still not sure of which rolls to buy, I just found out my retailer has a roll of that new $5 match win but scratching 100 of those would drive me crazy haha Stopped by a gas station in queens on the way home and got a #43 $10 cashword that lost. Also bought a $10 quickpick for the mega millions tomorrow night. I'm just spending $10-$20 until i'm ready to buy the rolls, can't wait to see

My general rule is buying either #00-03 or #46-50. I've had plenty of $100 winners from tickets in those # ranges. The recent consecutive win I had two days ago of $30, $100, $35 was #00-02... hope that helps and good luck today man! I'm taking a break for a little while, just buying mega millions tickets here and there until I save a bit more. I'm thinking of buying a roll of that new $5 60 minutes to win it game once I have enough money..

How does scratch off lottery work?
Sorry, but I dont think I understand your question. To me, whether or it's an online game like Mega Millions or a scratch-off, everything is entirely random. Perhaps you could clarify your question?

New California 7's tickets
At least you went all in- Ultimate 7's is gonna have the highest payout percentage and likely the best odds of the four. And of course largest top prize. Looking at the design of the 7's fam fam, I am puzzled why they chose this theme. I appreciate the floating bills artwork and do have an attraction to 7 as a number, but what strikes me as odd is that there is no 7-based prize structure (like the TP could be $7,000,000) except for the Second Chance drawing (seven $7k winners). Also, I notice

CA Lottery - California Love - CA Lottery Scratchers
From what I heard, becoming a retailer requires having a good amount of upfront funds to reap the benefits over time. They intake 6% from each dollar of all lottery products they sell, not too big of a profit margin unless it is a $10 or $20 scratcher. Retailers buy rolls of scratchers at 6% off and they have to send 94 cents for each dollar sold on a draw game. They get reimbursed 1% for the amount they cash out that is under the taxable value of $600. It comes at a cost of $24 a week.
