How exactly are lottery scratchers numbered in CAReply
I did did not look to see how California does it Edit: I just looked at the examples on the California website and I am guessing that California does book number and ticket number while leaving off the game number. So yyyyyyyy-zzzz my guess is y is the book number and z is the ticket number. Hi Keem - some Fl stores, gas stations and the like might accept a debit card -but not credit cards (suppose to be some law with credit card usage plus you could run up a big bill on a credit card and not pay the bill) ..... Publix does not take debit ....Wynn Dixie yes ......answers from places that do not take debit vary : we don't like to pay the fee.......corporate tells us no ..... and so forth, Some of my favorite places to buy take debit ....7/11 and most Sunoco gas stations ........

Looks like a $5M just won on GRL ........ bought at a PUBLIX here in Sarasota ... one of the stores I buy tickets. Seems like a few GRL $1M's are being won recently ..... I can't tell you how many I've bought since the game came out -$50 was the biggest........ it's gotta be just pure luck right place at the right time Does it make any difference if you buy one .. 5 OR 10 or more at the same time ? Hey FUN and CAPE ......Thanks for the kind words ! FlLot must have dumped a bunch of $500's in my area - Publix and Walmart ....... went out this morning and while at Publix decided to get 5 (yes) FIVE Madness .... the first one I scratched was $500 with the dollar sign symbol ... almost in the same spot as the other one from a day ago .... kinda reminds of an old $20 Game .... think it was called Gold Rush Tripler .....black ticket ..... when it was hot I'd get 3 or 4 $500's over a weekend ....

NICE 'ANOTHER' good one for you CAPE !! :) I have no luck with that game - GLAD you scoffed up a $500 !! Last week I bought 10 .... 3 here, 1 there etc...all losers. I'm back buying two to four tickets of a game. Pinned another 5X$100 MADNESS from four tickets bought. Not a claimer but out of two GRS tickets I picked up $100 ...... now if I could do that everyday I'd be a happy camper .... !! I look back in time at my three claimers - 20. 10 and 5K ...... all bought with 2 or 3 tickets ...

In Texas a pack usually has a guarantee of 50% of the cost of the pack, give or take, so a $10 pack costing $500 is guaranteed to return about $250. I wouldn't say the outcome is most likely profitable. Possible, yes, not most likely. I imagine scratch ticket odds are the same in any other state selling lottery tickets, but I haven't researched other states, so I may be wrong.

I think it comes down to personal preference. I buy from both, usually the counter only when I'm trading in some low end winners my largest winner in the past few years was a $1k from a gas station on a $50 ticket which I bought 2 of some people like certain ticket numbers or book numbers as well but from what I can gather that doesn't really make a difference either. It's all just right place right time

Anyone have any thoughts on playing the blue $50 ticket now? I haven't done great on it but I see it still has both top prizes and a good amount if $1m also i think I'm going to switch to playing that when I can over 500X as that has no more top prizes also the 2nd chance is good for another week
