There was a guy, I believe it was goherd14, who posted a Georgia Lottery Million $$ Match ticket earlier this year on which his friend won $1 million. It was the first number scratched if I remember correctly. Probably the first and last lottery ticket worth a cool million smackeroos that I'll ever see in my lifetime, lol.

thought no top prizes left in the super cash - is cheap that for 10 and up tickets georgia only comes out w 2 top prizes now the jackpot series are supposedly pretty good

Okay guys, I hate to say that I'm a liar...but I am. I know in my last post I said I was going to sit on my winnings for a bit before going back to Georgia but between feeling restless, bored and wanting something to do, I drove back to Georgia late Saturday to cash in $80 of my winnings ($64 from All or Nothing, the 2 $3 Tickets and 1 $10 Ticket). I was in Georgia a few days ago and I lost $400 in one day playing. Bought at least 3-4 of each $20 and $30 ticket they had on offer. Highest hit was $60 or $70 or something weird like that. I remember thinking is this the new $100..... Sadly GA seems to have gone downhill the same way Florida has, and I used to really like playing in GA with their good odds. I checked the website and the odds have progressively gotten worse and worse each year.

goherd14, I really, really, REALLY want your luck! I know you're saying for the most part you are breaking even but I would love to break even than just lose all the time. I can't get up for being down all the time. Looks like you're hitting some good ones down there in Georgia. I only wish I can same the same thing here. :(

I always scratch at home, even when I go over to the neighboring state of Georgia and buy tickets from time to time. From my experience, the people I see at the counter or off to the side scratching tickets feverishly then going back to buy more don't look like upstanding citizens of the county (and in some instances don't smell like it) so I don't want to be remotely associated with those guys so I always buy my tickets and go. If you need a change of scenery, luckyladie, you might want to consider moving to the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina. Beautiful scenery, rivers, the Blue Ridge Parkway and abundant tourist attractions. If you're a city girl, there's Asheville. If you prefer small towns, they come a dime a dozen.
