Monroe County lottery club wins $4M playing instant game
Monroe County lottery club wins $4M playing instant game. A two-member lottery club from Monroe County won $4 million playing the Michigan Lottery's Mad Max Money game. We've been playing together for years, but you never expect to win like this, said the club's representative who chose to remain anonymous. I scratched off the ticket and thought it was fake.

He was coming in to cash in on the ticket. He told me he purchased it at a gas station in Palm Coast, and that he has won $10k on $5 tickets before several times in the past along with numerous $500 and $1k wins on $5 tickets. Guys, I'm done playing scratchoffs for a while. I'm also planning on attending some gambler' anonymous meetings to help with transitioning out of this addiction so that it is more controllable. My recent spree has left me a bit concerned. I may be slightly ahead,

Are we at the mercy of the store owners and cheating clerks when it comes to scratch of tickets ?
Is there a reason neither you nor this former employee reported it to the lottery? You cannot be up in arms about a lottery seller doing something probably illegal and definitely unethical and not do anything about it. It puts you and your friend on the same level as this scammer. We aren't just at the mercy of amoral lottery sellers. We're also at the mercy of those who see or know about these activities and do nothing. It costs nothing to make an anonymous report to the lottery office but

I am down almost $2,000 in just one month. I could of bought my brother a car, he is in college and doesn't have one. This is the worst thing that is hurting, what I could of done with that cash. I've been in stores and seen $5,000 wins, $1000 wins, etc. These people who win are frequent players. But I cannot afford to be. I am still working, got myself the night owl shift but I'll take it considering my recent losses. I would like to help someone else who might be in my spot or recently started

CA Lottery - California Love - CA Lottery Scratchers
Yes that is correct, the breakdown by Jon D (a big contributor in the past) was done by obtaining the list of winners from the CA Lottery (this is public information) and using geoplotting. Not sure about the total sales by retailers is public information, I know that would interest you the most. Every big jackpot winner's name will be revealed by the laws of this state, no anonymous claiming. I do not think I ever got a chance to run into a representative, I have seen the CALottery van a

The clerk should not be asking for a tip. The clerk should be afraid to even ask for one because they are probably violating lottery rules, and or, the store's policy. Even if there is no rule against asking, personally find it a bit unethical to ask. Often think, if a big amount was won, an anonymous tip from the winner is appropiate, if they feel so inclined. And no one should feel that they are owed a tip for doing their job. But that's just my opinion.

Hi dr65 - what's said in the pulpit isn't always practiced. Gambling addiction is tough to conquer. AA states they have around a 5% cure ratio. He is different - because he is a pathological addicted gambler. You said you are a person in the know who seems to have it. I challenge you to explain what you mean and why you buy so many tickets. I'm not picking on you dr65 - maybe you have information that can help a lot of us who are addicted to gambling. And don't say it's private You are anonym

I have quit playing pretty much, for the exception of wednesdays and sundays where i will buy a scratch off or 2 and lotto ... I went to a gambler anonymous meeting to check it out, and it gave me common sense which i had lost. 1 guy at the meeting shared his story, he started scratching 1 year ago and turned to buying as much as 5 rolls a day for 5 grand. he blew through 200 grand just the last 3 months alone ..... now he lost everything his house family car etc and is in major debt and on m

Georgia Lottery Scratch Offs
Sorry to hear Goherd. I've had similar splurges before, but it isn't sustainable. It leads to a vicious cycle of chasing. If someone is buying through that many duds on a $25 ticket, chances are it is mostly likely a revenue generating roll with a poor return of probably $300/$1000. We have many rolls like that in FL. Buying one or two from a roll and being done is the way to go. What works for me is: Paying all bills in advance (and leaving only what is necessary for gas/food in my
