Sheriff announces dozens of arrests in Lock Street inquiry brief quote, Lock Street serves as the main drag through Tommy Town, home to migrant workers and the working poor. PA's $50 ticket coming 12/27-12/28Reply
So I saw an article that someone just hit a 5,000,000 winner in Bensalem Bucks County (articles on all the local news websites). Bad odds on these $50 tix aside, if I happen to be in that vicinity, I would think I should avoid that ticket because they probably spread them around the state. Has there been any research on that?

One thing to remember on unclaimed large and mid-range prizes is the possibility that a winning ticket was thrown away from someone thinking it was not a winner. I have heard of this happening in the past and another case of this was in a news story today on the LP News page article titled Woman nearly throws away $2M lottery ticket . Luckily in this case, someone else decided to double check the ticket and found it was a winner...

I wondered if Mike Dee scanned his tickets first and knew what he won before posting on YouTube. After reading his article sounds like he does. He puts on the show for us already knowing what the prize is. Doesn't change the fact he is one lucky SOB!

I was looking at old LP articles and stumbled upon an October 2007 story about a fake lottery ticket. The ticket was fake as you can see for yourself in the link below. Tried to post a link to a ventura county newspaper that had an interesting article containing lots of stats on lottery retailers. It got blocked because I'm a new member. I found it on a google search of california list of lucky scratcher retailers. It came up on the 6th or 7th page, in case anyone is interested.
