Some sequential book number ranges are skipped, so if you have a book labeled 50,000 for example, that does not mean that yours is the 50,000th book printed.

Yeah, in all seriousness it is randomized. I know that big winners pop up in Miami and other areas that have high ticket purchases mostly because those areas shuffle through more books at a faster rate. I don't believe in systems, but I do think reading book numbers is important. If you know there's 10 top prizes, 10 pools, and a top prize is supposed to be roughly every 50,000 books then you can usually assume if the first prize is found within the first 50,000 books that the next one w

Since you decided to chime in on my response to gatorsrok regarding the $10M Fortune game I would like to know how can people account for skipped book numbers? You simply point out or clarify that people need to account for skipped book numbers yet give no direction or opinion on how to do this? I was just trying to help gatorsrok and others who may be looking for what book number range the final $10M prize may fall into. I listed the posted odds, average number of books per jackpot prize and pr

The new $10 game seems to be selling like candy. Alot of people like the 1 in 8.88 odds, considering they can turn $10 into $50 fairly easily. This game was sold out at the Publix I visited... Examining the game's odds (1/12 = $50 winner), there should be about 5 $50 winners per book and with odds of (1/35) at winning $100 there should be at least a $100 winner in each book. These are averages, so some books may have 2 or more $100 winners and some may have 0. I would also like to see wh

scratch-off tickets experiment
Buying a whole book of tickets is a sucker bet. Lottery's typically guarantee a specific amount of low tier winners in every book (for the benefit of the retailer), but that amount is usually around half the retail value of the book. In order to get the other have of your investment back, that book would have to include at least a few mid tier prizes or one of the top prizes. Odds are very long on either happening.

Unclaimed Jackpot Prizes
There is a way to overcome the top prize and secondary price being downsize. If you look at the prize report all first price might be claim and still secondary prize unpaid, how many we have to look at the report for that game. There are also all secondary prize paid and still at least one top prize yet to be paid. How is that conspiring? Well look at it this way. You can't recall every single copy because it would be spread around to 18,000 retailer and some retailer has lotto machine. Even if
