Long story short. I bought a book of ten dollar tickets in South Carolina. (10 dollar ones) got back 100.00 biggest winner 15 bucks Got mad because it was so crappy Called lottery office She tells me that each roll has a minimum amount back and for that game it was 100.00 I tell her it used to be better and they have gotten greedy and that the new tickets all seem to suck. After she told me the part about the minimum then i said ok thanks for your honesty if you will tell

I bought an entire book of $20 GA tickets - $3,000,000 Taxes Paid
You got that one right! I went to claim the $130 of my winnings tonight at a QuickTrip. I was going to get some more there, but my gut really strongly objected to the idea for some reason. I turned in $90 worth, meaning to turn in $100 worth (they will only pay out up to $100 cash, After that it is a money order, which I did not feel like dealing with). Against my better judgement, I asked if I could turn in the remaining $40 ticket for more scratch offs. The clerk said no, and went into this lo

$500 winner - Georgia Lottery BLACK
I don't know why you can't post pics. If you want you can PM me with them and I can post them for you. I think I saw your video, you dirty rat. Is this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hyflRVlT4l8 the correct video? Our rolls of tickets are all $300, so our numbers repeat more often, especially on the more expensive tickets. If I were to spend $300 on a roll, I know I would get at least $180 back, but unless there was a $500 winner in there or at least 2 $100 winners, I would probably lose mone

$750,000 Winner - Jingle Jumbo Bucks - 2010
Yes, I am REALLY, REALLY unhappy about this game, and its false advertising. This after carefully examining my records. I will be contacting the GA Lottery Commission, and depending on the outcome, I may stir up a hornet's nest, well beyond what I have written here. I have tallied this game up, and this month I have spent $170 on Jingle Jumbo Bucks, and have only won $50 back, for a net loss of $120. I know what you are thinking: That's just how the lotto is. But wait a minute, even with the exp

Had some interesting interactions with SCEL's Gold Millions Tickets the past several days. I'll take you back as far as I can remember... 02/17 - After sitting on 5 $100 tickets from the game. I cashed in all $500 to buy more tickets. At one gas station I purchased a full book ($300) and took the remaining $200 in cash. Stopped at another gas station near my house on the way home and bought 20 from a bin. The book only paid $125 while the bin tickets netted $175 for a combined total of $300.

Malie10, You don't know just HOW lucky you were. See those numbers 1-6-14-24 on that ticket? Well I have over $1800.00 in losing $5 $10 and $20 tickets ALL with the number 24 on them. The rest have at least one of the other numbers. I haven't done all the math but I'll bet that 90% have the 24 and two of the other numbers and probably 50% have ALL four of those numbers somewhere on the ticket. Now, I have hit a few $100 winners in there that do have the number 24 on them but the VAST ma

$500 winner - Georgia Lottery BLACK
Yes, that was excellent. I do some of that to an extent. I do have better luck in the slower stores where I can actually count the tickets in each book. If I hit on a winner, I try and wait for 3 tickets to be sold before I buy another, and then I will often buy them until I have another winner. I dig through the trash a bit, but I have yet to find a winner so far, although I have entered many a second chance game with those tickets. I do also gather intel on tickets that way. Most people will s

Have you or anyone you known tipped clerks that have helped you select a winning instant ticket?
I agree with what you are saying, and I would like to add some of my thoughts to it. I am also one of the types that usually buys my tickets and even if I scratch them in the store and win, I don't usually tell the clerk, so you are definitely right about that. I almost never turn in a winner on the spot. For a number of reasons, the main one is that I like to record all of the information from the ticket, I take them home. I also like to keep others from learning about how many losers in a row

Lucky and unlucky Scratch-off ticket numbers
I really wouldn't be cynical, but I understand. I used to be too, until I realized that long strings happen in every game, and that it almost certainly means that there is a good chance that a big winner accompanied it, either before or after. I have played Maximum Green a total of 5 times now, and of that, two were losers, one won $100, and two won $25, for a total of $150. If I keep up with numbers like that, I will be very happy. The losses do add up quickly. I have no intentions of going out
