Well I know the feeling, I don't make a lot to begin with, so doing any extracurricular activities has to be thought out very well, but when it comes to the lottery, that's a task a half, nobody plays to lose, so when we do play we're all looking for a nice win, when we don't get one we try to keep hope alive by playing more, over the last week I've lost about $600 on various lottery games, I also play the daily games, the way that the lottery is structured is for them to always be on the upswin

You're able to write off losses up to your winnings. My understanding is that you can get back up to the amount they withheld from you (and that you owe) if you have enough in losses to write it off at a 1:1 ratio. I may be in the minority but I'm suspect of someone who joins a lottery forum about a month ago to primarily discuss his issues with gambling. I don't think you're taking this as seriously as most would if they went broke to the point of impending homelessness after a gambling loss. If you're really serious about seeking help, it's out there. The fact that you recently became a member and have posted primarily about your gambling problems is a sign of one who is indirectly asking for help. That's a good start. Yes, I've been to that part of Orange County and it is ghetto. Based on stereotypes, its fits your description and presumptions. Hi dr65 - what's said in the pulpit isn't always practiced. Gambling addiction is tough to conquer. AA states they have around a 5% cure ratio. Hi, allowselftowin - sorry you aren't having much luck, either. It was 11 in a row losers. Finally a $5 on #031 and a $4 on #034. We're devoted enough that yes, I think we've earned the right to complain. Gambling is gambling. But it can also get to a level that is very demoralizing when it's like I've seen. Last year I got so many more $100s and 3 $200s. This year the $100s are way down with 1 $200 winner. I played the 24k tickets at Giant. But the beer store hasn't been that good either lat
