Several things are different about CA Scratchers versus some of the more mature lotteries on the eastern half of the US: 1. Higher ticket prices, with big $10 and $20 scratch tickets. We don't have those, ours topping out at $5 tickets. Those higher prices can provide more revenue per customer, as like with potato chips, its very hard to have just one. How do they distribute top prizes
Well, it does happen all the time. $5 Wintergreen just ended recently with a bunch of top $100,000 prizes remaining. And the next game to end, $100,000 Riches, will probably be next month sometime. It still shows 27 of 50 top prizes remaining, but do you think another top prize will be issued in the next month before it finishes? Possibly, but most likely not. That game did not sell well and is already disappearing from stores. You can only hope and trust that they are releasing top prizes in

How many different stores do you buy Scratch tickets from?
Oh, I see, that is a much bigger prize for the 50k/per year. I am having trouble staying focused. Too many tickets. I do like the Lucky for Life ticket, I've only played a couple times but I like the big yellow ticket, scratches real easy. I've just been trying to get into a strategy and saw 1 in 3mil and said forget that, let me try for the 1 in 546,000 for the Million on BDB But I like your strategy, look at history, timelines, Wins are spread out. Some tickets are due to hit, Makes Sense.

Have you or anyone you known tipped clerks that have helped you select a winning instant ticket?
I kind of agree. I do usually like to keep my winnings to myself, but I still think clerks can be of help. One thing that occurred in the past has stuck with me for some time now; to this day I still wonder about it.
