New to Scratch-off games, had some questions
1) I don't recommend buying scratch offs at all. That same $300 would have purchased 600 quick pick 4's (boxed) which may have given you far more than a $100 return. Typically a scratch game pays back anywhere from 50% to 75% with the higher priced tickets giving bigger returns. That being said a $300 book of tickets should return you $150 to $225. 2) Doesn't matter although the the machines sometimes mess up and it's a hassle to get refunded. 3) Big stores are better because the lottery k

Thanks Omiller315..it was an awesome first time $1000 win...I'm not going to go crazy and try to win more..it only took me 5 years of scratching to finally win one..LOL.. I know the regular PA posters on here have all mostly won $1000 or more several times..so I'm just glad to finally say I got one too.... HUBBY HIT THE 3 digit 077 tonight too..on a quick pick..so PA has been nice to us today!!!! We give enough to them to get a little back... Good luck everyone!!!

Stopped on the way home from my first job, and scanned the tickets from yesterday (including a Match 6 quick pick) and indeed I won jack diddle. SO I started feeding money into the machine without checking (stupid I know) because I wanted a few more Match 6 quick picks (it's worth 3.4 M) and wanted to play another $10 ticket. They didn't have any Aces High in this machine, so I settled for a 777 ticket (#14) which again was a loser. I think I have to be down well over $100

CA Lottery - California Love - CA Lottery Scratchers
I never knew about the End of Game pages on the website, I never got a direct link to those pages. If I browse any other page on the site I get an authentication window. I checked out the CaLottery Twitter page and they have screenshots of the 4th California Gold Top Prize ticket - single match of 29 http://losangeles.cbslocal.com/2014/01/24/taking-care-of-friends-cats-leads-woman-to-1m-scratcher-win/ The 5/5 Powerball $3 Million Winner - 2 set plays and NOT a quick pick

Wow Matt..that is disgraceful..sorry to hear that..haven't posted in awhile..layed off the tickets for awhile..got 1 or 2 here or there but nothing to brag about..losers..or maybe the ticket price.. the scratch off's just lost their appeal to me anymore..with each new batch of tickets they come out with they get crappier and crappier..they used to be so much better years ago..but they just plain stink anymore.. You just feel like you are losing a losing battle..I know there r winners out t

Scratcher tricks to success
We have a relatively new $10 card called cash spectacular in NC and I have bought many of them. My favorite no. at the bottom of the card was 014 as I have won $100 3 times with that no. and $50 twice but the luck did not hold out as I have bought at least 3 of that no. and have won nothing. I had kept a record of all of the numbers at the bottom of the card and what I had won with them and soon I realized it had absolutely nothing to do with it as I started losing with those same numbers a

Have you or anyone you known tipped clerks that have helped you select a winning instant ticket?
I kind of agree. I do usually like to keep my winnings to myself, but I still think clerks can be of help. One thing that occurred in the past has stuck with me for some time now; to this day I still wonder about it. Once upon a time, I was in a store trying to decide on which ticket that I was going to purchase. The clerk suggested Jingle Jumbo Bucks, and he said that it had been doing good recently. Being that it was the first ticket (029) in the roll, I was skeptical, but I knew it could b

Scratch-Off Addiction "Super Users"
I was actually an anti- scratch off guy for a long time. I mean look at the odds, they are actually not measureable because of the physical limitations. The tickets are made in batches of about 6 million, on average, and distributed around a given state. I have no idea if it is planned that sizeable prizes are evenly distributed among the many stacks sent to the many stores throughout a state, but basically, we are hoping a nice size prize happens to end up at the few we frequent in our corner o
