Wierd Question
As you can see this is my first post. So, I just turned 18 about 5 months ago. So, I went on a trip to Indiana over the summer and I went to other states. I thought it would be cool to lottery tickets from each state I went to. So, Then I thought why not get tickets from states I went to when I was younger. This is where you help comes in if possible. I was hoping someone in these states (Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Geogria, Flordia, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New Hampshire, Maryla

I won $15,000 on a thanksgiving day in the 1990's. It was on a game called Jokers Wild in a little town called Damascus, Virginia. Dont remember the exact year but I do remember that I won on thursday and since it was a holiday the lottery office was closed on friday and I had to hold the ticket until the following Monday. I had to take the ticket out every 15 minutes to look at to make sure I was not dreaming. It was the first thing I thought about when I woke up and the last when I went to bed

friend wins big...
just a bit of information to pass on to fellow lp members........I have a friend gary that bought a scratch off ticket that paid 2 thousand week for life or lump sum............he took the sum of 1.1 milllion here in virginia..........and i didnt know it till this morning before church .he won some time back i didnt get a chance to get all the details.......this boy was in terrible shape very ill lost his job laid off after heart attack but a good boy all around..............he was blessed......

I hope the number games are different, but you specified scratchers and they're more complicated. But with numbers, I would think we're able to buy them, I do that a lot. If someone predicts 345 or 365 or 654 exact for Virginia usually I go and buy them.

Virginia? Are you serious? Maybe I have bad luck with scratchers...most i have won is 30 bucks on a 2 dollar ticket...maybe i should level up and play those 5 and ten dollar tix... Although they do have a good website

Hadn't thought of that but that isn't a bad idea. I'm looking for good games in case I'm ever in those areas. As far as draw games, the Ontario Canada lottery has a bunch of interesting options if you go to their website. Getting back to instants, North Carolina and Virginia seem to have some good instant games also.

Different strokes for different folks. I'll stick with the $10 and up cards. I make more than 50K a year at my job, so winning 50K wouldn't allow me to quit working for even a year. It wouldn't even pay off my mortgage. Not much financial security to speak of, I'm afraid. I live in NC, but I live close enough to Georgia and Virginia that I'm able to make an occasional trip to those states to stock up on their best scratchers also.

Feeling bad for N.Carolina players. Hit 4 machines and a few gas stations and nothing over $50. Biggest was a $2 scratcher for $40. On the flip side,they have a great rewards program.Earn points for losing tickets and you can you use them to enter other drawings. My virginia scratcher was sent to a lotto investigator because they could'nt scratch the code. They said the hot/cold made the latex on the ticket impossible to scratch.
