I buy scratchers here and there. If I get Hot, I'll usually keep playing for the entire week. I just went to the store to buy some mega millions tickets and some cash 3. I decided against the cash 3, because of the line and bought 2 different $10 tickets and 4 of the same $5 ticket. I won on both $10 tickets ($35 total) and on the 4 consecutive tickets I won $25 on the first, I hit a 20X (20 times the amount: $1) on the second, a ticket on the 3rd, and the forth was a loser.. You are exactly correct. Personally, I think that is why I hardly ever play scratchers. As strange as it sounds, I actually like the wait and anticipation of the lottery drawings. I play Tx 2 Step, Tx Lotto, and Mega Millions, and when I buy my ticket I like the anticipation of the drawing and whether I won anything or not. I wonder if younger people play scratchers more, or if older people do. Probably no way to really know, but I imagine that the younger generation thrives on the instant gr

I dont think you would disagree with me that you wouldnt mind winning 250k, which could be a nice chunk of change. I think too many lottery players have convoluted ideas they are going to win millions and the lottery loves that. Its like we are brainwashed to spend more money on games that we have a miniscule chance to win. Id rather put 100 bucks on the Little Lotto when the payout is close to the odds then wasting even 10 bucks on mega millions. I think you would have a lot more people sat

Hey all you could try to order NY Instant games from your state if its possible to do so :) . If you like the stratch games. I personally love the Mega Millions and NY lotto and Pic 3s, and Pic 5 over the stratch and wins now a days. Hi Cape, nice to meet a fellow cat lover. Yeah sounds like a terrible deal your neighbors got there, I wouldn't want that either. $20 seems to be the most i can get these days across all games, I'll keep trying though. I did play the mega millions during that 1 Bil, spent about 100 return was like 10. So now in that I don't care to play phase. Good Luck out there.

Regardless of how many entries are bought for the drawing, there is a guarantee that each drawing will go up by $1 million each time. Consumers have shown that they are into the big jackpot games, so they'll play that instead. Even though SLP is at positive expectation, it is still selling much less than Mega Millions and Powerball. The 5 out of 5 with no Mega or Power pays out well normally as a near miss, so there is appeal to that too. I'll play scratchers if SLP goes away.

I've seen that thread long time ago. It is likely a misinterpretation to many here, the jackpot win probably was split three ways since the creation date are all the same timestamps and the total prize claimed was not docked down by 3. Splitting is wise to a point where it reduces taxes, but they have to wait out 20 years to get fully paid out. Not a huge win but good for a $5 ticket. I was happy to see the 20x symbol. I missed one of the numbers but the total was $50. Later that day while picking up a Mega Millions ticket I scored this: Very happy with that! This game has never been good to me!

So I wound up having a winning mega millions ticket ($5) from yesterday as well. So I spent $32 and won $32. Cashed them in at a local grocery store and decided to take a crack at another $20 ticket. $20 Money Money Millionaire (#22) was a big fat loser..... I think I'm going to give a few more $20's a whirl and then go back into mini hibernation again. I'm wondering what PA passing this new lottery bill will do for the putrid state of scratchers.
