For the payday game, I bet the top prizes had a single money bag symbol because in theory it would be easier to spot. But I know many people don't realize you only need a single money bag to win the prize. I bet that at least one or two top prizes were thrown away by people who didn't read the rules.

How exactly are lottery scratchers numbered in CA
Looking around the web, I see that numbers are generated sequentially. So, if there are 18million tickets, I would expect my ticket to be somewhere from 1 to 18million. However, since there are books and then sub numbers, I have to calculate slightly differently. Concretely, I have a CA 200X scratcher that has about 18million total tickets. I look at a ticket and see a number 1182345-025. If I assume each book at 30 tickets, it means my book should start at 1182345 to 118237

I haven't played that one since last year. I tend to stick to $5 and $10 lately and occasionally a $20 Gold Rush. After seeing so many losers posted on facebook of the new $50 game I'm afraid to touch that one lol. Not sure why they came out with a new Loteria game this month when the old still has top prizes left. I haven't been feeling any of the new tickets though. I'm ready for a new Life series.

I think $500 Madness replaced the $10 50, 100 500 ticket and then $500 Bonanza came out to replace this one but both are still going strong. I guess when the prizes dwindle down for one or both they'll release another. I liked the 50, 100 and 500 ticket more than either of the latter. These new tickets each month seem to get worse and worse. I haven't won more than $10 on the new Price is right ticket and now that the contest for that is over there is no incentive to buy that ticket over other $

That sucks but thanks for the heads up. I wonder if they might get rid of it since they have pick 5 or will add more numbers to the game. I wouldn't play 2x either if they do go the 2 drawing route. I don't know if I shared here or not but there will be a change to Mega Millions down the line. It will be $5 with changes to the starting jackpot and something about a raffle in each state each time the jackpot is won. Megaplier will be done with.
