If their is an attorney that could just comment on what the law is. I think that in a court of law it would have to come out that it is unfair advantage to the public that the tickets are getting destroyed.

as for biggest ticket hit,$10,000. in 2000 on $5.00 scratch ticket.did it again in 2009 on $5.00 scratch ticket and again in Jan on same ticket as 2009 another $10,000. all in Ma. as for guy in Tx won and waited to divorce before claiming ticket.If X had found out and went to a lawyer guy would have lost half that winning amount,reason being it is when ticket was bought not when you cashed it in any good lawyer would be able to get the date purchased and get back to court and get her money.

Iowa had these machines a couple of years ago.When you won they would spit out a receipt with the amount of your winnings printed on the receipt.You took the receipt to the clerk to get paid.If you got a big win (over $600) you would have to go to a lottery office to get paid.Iowa only had the machines for a few months because the casinos started complaining that they resembled slot machines and weren't legal for the lottery to have them.The state Supreme Court agreed and the lottery got rid of

I always check all my tickets at home. One guy threw away a million dollar scratcher, and someone else fished it out of a trash can and cashed it. The poor guy took him to court and lost, then died. That will never hapen to me, I refuse to go blind and crazy over something like that. For me, scratchers can sometime be hard to understand, so I'll want to check them several times over bfore discarding them!!!

Nice win Whiplash. I am in the middle of playing my tickets. Got 6-Holiday Gifts next to work and then stopped at the mall and played a place I never play(grabbed $40 worth). Then stopped center court for another Winner Take All. Still with $30 in my pocket I ran into someone from high school I havent seen in 16 years and they just friend requested on FB a few months ago. Hi oldghost Your idea is good - I checked with Fl Lot about this in the past and was advised Florida Statutes 24.109, 24.105 and 24.115 - control the Lottery ..... I guess the only way to ask/get a change would be filing a complaint/modification and have a court hearing - ----------- good luck with that ... but who knows ? In troubled times you could have a good chance getting it done....... as in amendment ... why don't you get going on this and be known as the oldchost who made a payment ch
