CA Lottery - California Love - CA Lottery Scratchers
Seems like all the winner stories I've read, each winner discovered the LIFE symbol so I would presume its via the LIFE symbol.

Its mind-blowing that both of those tickets were next in line to fall out. Just like those crazy winner stories you read about.

I'm always amazed when i read winner stories. You can buy a 1000 tickets and its always 1 or 2 tickets that someone purchases and hits.

CA Lottery - California Love - CA Lottery Scratchers
The other one was in Escondido, in San Diego County. NorCal had the majority of the $5 Set For Life winners. green sandal's 25K win was on the single last number match as well, so I suppose it may be easy to over look it by placing it there. One of the $5 LFL jackpot winner stories stated the very first number he scratched was a LIFE symbol. I noticed a trend with the scratch ticket vendor that the CA Lottery uses, you see TWO top prize values on the prize boxes for all losing tick

James, I was reading $1M+ scratchoff winner stories and almost all of them said they hardly ever play. I had a feeling that folks like us pour tens of thousands on these every year; then they just walk in and pick up one and hit the top prize. It din't sound fair to me. Just like the high limit slots in casinos which have $100,$500 denom. per pull lottery should create a $100/$200 scratch off ticket. We would then buy a few instead of a bunch of smaller value tix. Atleast the occasional buyer

Florida Scratch Offs - Post Pictures if posible
Pretty sure over the years I have read stories about this...both shows winning number yet isn't a winner and doesn't show as a winner yet scans as a winner. Most times lottery will just claim it's a misprint and not pay.......maybe others remember specific stories.

unfair practices and odds
At ScratchSmarter, we are very leery of any merchant selling lottery tickets over the counter - particularly the mini-marts, beer distributors and cigarette shops where the clerks have nothing better to do with their spare time than to keep an eye on the lottery games they're selling. It's really unfair to be targeted by these vultures where they're able to increase their odds of winning simply by observing which tickets are winners which are losers by dealing with the customers buying the t

CA Lottery - California Love - CA Lottery Scratchers
It's so hard to not wonder why these areas in the middle of nowhere or the poorest areas always seem to have the winners and they come from dumpy little stores? I honestly have a hard time not believing that the balance is tilted to seed areas of low income with winning tickets because it makes the system look good and provides feel good stories. In reality, who is going to be happy reading a story where the million dollar winner came from a Vons Pavilions in Newport Beach, CA and the winner
