Backtesting and Simulating Lottery Systems
jimmy4164, Most active posters on topics related to systems tend to reject rigorous computer backtesting of lottery systems, for the most part, because they think the human element is too complex to be modeled in a computer program. There are those who come up with theories and systems and check them out and admit that they don't work, and then there are those who come up with theories and systems and if the results prove them wrong they ignore the results.

What is a lottery system? What distinguishes a lottery system from guesses, dreams and quick picks?
Thanks for the reply ameriken. My solution to being a lousy predictor is studying lottery archives and histories along with the associated potential methods for predicting future draws for the interest and amusement, but almost never buying tickets. I'm great at predicting past draws and can prove dozens of systems that show promise through backtesting but refuse to predict tonight accurately. But I'd like to know what characteristics a successful system would have to satisfy.

Why not all the Probability, Statistics, Calculus Theories applied all in 1 to lottery
I disagree with you Josephus. Backtesting is a good indicator of predicting likelihood. (Predicting likelihood is what backtests are. In probability, LIKELIHOOD is the prediction of pasts events). That said, the problem is 1) working with mixed data, and 2) the data you didn't generate that is a part of the whole. Why would you even consider using data from IL 6/5? linear game with MegaMillions 5/56, plus megaball, which is a dual matrix game? In any case, your choice, so what ha

grannys2plus mirrows
Backtesting in Georgia: Jan: 9 hits, 3 of them were straight, Feb: 8 hits, 2 of them were straight, hits happened between next day and 8 days out, most of them happened within 4 days out. Pretty cool I think. Have a good weekend LP family

Kansas: 2/1 - 2/28/2011
Even tho Granny's system did n't hit I also miscalculated. i used the 1-up/1-down system on the mirrors taking the 439 up 540/439 down328 i got a few hits when i was backtesting and they came from the 1-up/1-down system 984 439 246 230 785

STRAIGHT System for Pick 3
What you mean monthly? Its good for 30 days but its a better strategy to do one every day OR every other day to get the most up to date information on what the hottest digits are in each position. Just keep an eye out for the previous ones you did UP TO 30 DAYS IN THE PAST. After that you can put them in a file somewhere....just in case you want to do some backtesting research in the future.

destiny2008 3-digit chart revisited
I don't convert all the numbers, only the ones i feel are going to hit. With the converter chart you can also find the dubbs and trips with ease. Do some backtesting and youll see what i mean. I,e been using d's chart from day 1 with great results.

STRAIGHT System for Pick 3
My new Game Index system will be perfect for Pick 4. It will give you just 6 digits to wheel to get a hit. I will let you know what I find out in my backtesting.
