Repetition and skips explained
For repetitions, you might go further into probabilities. For Keno 20/70, I calculated in Excel the odds for the count of numbers repeating. STR Pick 3 System - 2 Steps Back!
Hey guys, DiamondPalace here with another system! This one is for Pick 3. I call it 2 Steps Back! . We are going to try and get a straight hit using this system. No excel this time. Once you learn this method you can eye ball it, not much effort. When the desired combinations showed up, we have 1 in 200 to hit a straight, or 1 in 160. Here's how. In this excercise I'm using Texas Pick 3 evening results. The latest all the way back to early June. Remember to backttest this method in your st

Backtesting and Simulating Lottery Systems
Jimbooble!!!! Had fun playing with the code. Thanks for posting it!!! My complaints: NONE OF THIS IS YOUR FAULT!! 1) The output screen is lacking any explanantion. It shows the number of draws, the ending balance (Equity after the 5000 draws), and then it shows the last QP number and last lottery draw. There were 4999 other draws not shown! Can't figure why that was done. 2) It would have been much more realistic to dimension 50,000 (or at least 100 people with one QP each) for each

Vertical Root Sum Most of us know about Root Sum, and how to use it, but we always use it in one dimension : Horizontal! In the same draw result, for an example: Root Sum for 1234 is 1+2+3+4 = 10=1 But how about the other dimention? How about The Vertical ???? Here is HOW it goes: Adding MID to EVE numbers for the same day, using lotto Math (no carry over): Tri-State, same day draws: 06/01/2006 Day 2 2 9 3 06/01/2006 Eve 6 8 6 0 2 2 9 3 6 8 6 0 + ---------

Pick - 4 System using indexing and due pairs.
An explaination of indexing for lottery numbers is you take the number of hits, divided into the games to get a hit average. Then you take the skips divided by the hit average and this gives an index number. The higher the index number the more due that combo or pair or number is. I have taken the Michigan Pick - 4 midday and Evening merged for the whole database, 14,274 combos updated thru 11/13/10 for the due combos. I used 370 of the last hits for the pairs. Here is what I got, using Versabe

Pick 3 PI method
If someone could put this into a simple program, so I can backtest it, I and others would love you forever...lol..(NOT Excel) (plug-n-play). Alpha = Beta = Gamma = ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Step 1: Plug in you last winning number into the above. Let's use an example of 159 from Florida Sept. 27 midday winner. Alpha = 1 Beta = 5 Gamma = 9 -----------------------

VTRAC For Dummies
thanks Winsum. I have been looking at your blog and this new Vtrac trend is something I will have to look into. Here is something thatmay not be new but i will post it nevertheless. It is a reduction of Vtrac sums showing the bell curve. I am using it on my spread as just a visual representaion . KInd of a coloring book with no functions- about where I am with excel at this point. I have to manually make the changes in the form of format colors. Maybe a stepping stone to greater things.
