What do Lottery Post members do?
Hey everyone I use to work for the state of Illinois as a mental health technician. Lost 2 really good friends in tower 2 on 9/11, moved home to be with parents, paid off their home. And now I am a full time student working on my degree in education. Thats right I want to be a teacher I am aiming for graduation in spring of 2009 and want either 4th, 5th, or 6th grade. Oh I almost forgot I am a favorite aunt to 4 neices, and 3 nephews. Good luck to all that play.

N.C. lottery scratch tickets on sale in 15 days
Looking at the packet on the lottery website to select a television station for the live drawings (it's on the main page under news), the NCEL stated that it planned to start an online game in the fall, with another one or two next spring, and that the station that gets the contract should expect to have twice-daily drawings, although that is not set in stone yet (I would assume that it will be pick 3, followed by pick 4 and cash 5 games in that order, though the packet does not say). Hopefu

the future of mega millions and powerball
I think the matrix for Powerball will go up just because there are so many more states playing it, i don't think Mega Millions will change, it might, it all depends on if California stays in or not, we will just have to see this spring. i hope it stays but you never know. But i don't know why they need to change the matrix of the game, has there ever been in any lottery game where you have to choose 5 and a mega number, has the same combination ever come up 2 times? i think the game matrix is fi

Lottery winner pleads innocent to ID theft, fraud charges
One way that the state could avoid such problems is to not accept credit cards for lottery tickets. I know in South Carolina, it's CASH ONLY. And it will be the same in North Carolina when theirs cranks up this Spring. So buying a ticket with a credit card was a stupid thing on her part because she could get tracked. If nothing else, she should have received a cash advance somewhere and then bought a ticket elsewhere with the proceeds of said advance. Then the state/vendor looks stupid in that t

OH Lot 'O Play- Drawings
I feel if the Ohio Lottery Commission wants to keep this particular game they will either have to reduce the cost of each play to $1 or increase the payouts for lower tier prizes. Based on the payout results so far, who's winning anything significant? They do not show how many $1,000 winners there were after each drawing. They only show a total amount of money won from that draw. They know that they are in trouble. They will have a new game probably this Spring. When they came up with the 6/53 year

North Carolina lottery officials plan to interview candidates for their top staff post next week, a key move in their effort to start selling state gaming tickets by next spring.Members of the state's lottery commission say they likely will have to offer a director a top-dollar salary more than $150,000, plus bonuses to get the person they want.Commission members sifted through a pool of 200 applications during a 45-minute meeting Monday that was closed to the public.About 15 candidates have

Benford's Law
Hi Friends, While researching unrelated scientific subject matter I came across an article on Benford's Law. I decided that LP should/could benefit. I see that Win D already brought this up on November 25, 2004. Of particular interest is how it can be used to determine whether a lottery is being run fairly or not. You could probably sue the state lottery if Benford's Law proves that they are cheating.http://www.abc.net.au/science/k2/moments/s116315.htm Hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
