What do you mean by they're capping Powerball ? They stop the terminals from selling tickets after a certain daily limit? Go buy a Powerball ticket late in the day and let us know if the clerk says sorry, we're sold out for the day . I've only bought a couple of mega millions since the $ increase and have mostly lost interest in it. I'll probably buy 1 line when the jackpot gets big. I'm up to 19 bucks a week. On average I would spend a couple extra bucks if the jackpots where astromical,. That was before the price increase. But no more. And the only reason I'm still playing. Is because I have been playing the same numbers for about 20 years. I have never matched anymore than 2 balls so far. I'm thinking of completely dropping out. You probably aren't the only one. Checking the jackpot increases.. MM is going up about $10m per draw.. cash increase about $4.5m per draw. Powerball is doing better than that, and that has three draws per week.
