Haven't been winning on my numbers lately but lil Jimmy threw me a bone and gave me 4 out of 5 on my Take 5 for $480. Had 7 19 25 37 38 (Quick Pick) ...needed that 37 to be a 33. lol

I can easily imagine this; QP winner: Wow, I played a quick picj and it won the jackpot but I have to aplit it with someone who picked the same numbers. Lkyedeb's pairs hit 99.9% of the time. Sometimes you can over think a number. It's the lottery. Not easy to get a hit as the odds are against us. 1 in 1000. Most of my wins come from a quick pick. No thought in that.

Both of these games are way out of reach for a dream of winning. In the past I have spent a lot of time trying to guess sets of winning numbers without much success other than getting an occasional 3 white balls, or 2 white balls and the mega or powerball. Now that the odds have really gone up, I just buy a quick pick ticket and pay the extra dollar for the powerplay or megaplier so that if I do get lucky to win something, the payout will be multiplied. There is no guaranteed way to beat the lottery. The only way to win the jackpot is by pure luck. I first joined this Lottery Post discussion forum in 2002. As far as I know, the only person that won a significant amount of money was EZMoney. He won $100,000 (before taxes, of course) from a quick pick. There were many smart people on these message forums over the years. If RjOH, Visiondude, Hypersoniq, and Todd Northrop never won a jackpot, I doubt it would happen to me anytime soon.
