retxx,I recommend you purchase some How to use... or Introduction to... books on Excel or something similar.Also, the full version of Microsoft Office Excel has some tutorials on How to... online.

question; love your spreadsheet I downloaded it (excel) also replaced yor draw numbers with mine (last 15) and wonder if the chart shows probable hits to play. Having a little difficulty following it. Thnaks for any help. I am a novice at excel.

lottaloot knowing you are versed on excel please help with this question. On my spreadsheet which is filled with past draw numbers I don't know how to continue adding current numbers so they line up at the top cell. need step by step if you would. want to add the date and draw. will need to do it each day. i have excel 2000. VB vs Cellfunctions:Try to write a function that will quicksort a multidimensional array, with one of the arguments being the field to sort on.VB, compiled, will process it a thousand times faster.In excel you'll have to copy the function into every cell, making your spreadsheet pretty slow.Then again, you could use VBA, crossplatform (what's in a name) concerning Excel, Access, Word even Powerpoint etc. A joke, so it seems, VBA is not even consistant within the entire Office-suite...

lottaloot or hyper I have a pick 4 draws for Mass. going back to 1976. would either of you have an excel spreadsheet that would help selecting future pics after entering all these draws to any advantage. please help if yes. I have excel 2000.Thanks If it had filters it would be great.

Rip SnorterIt is a add-in item in excel.Go to tools add-ins. Then choose anylasis tools.I have excel 2002 so I don't know if this was a feature in 97 but, since it's add in I'm sure you can get it off of MS site since most new items are usually backwards compatiable. Powerplayer

changing security levels in excel...In excel, go to the Tools menu, when that opens, go to the Macros sub-menu. A little fun in XL97: make sure you have R1C1 box unchecked e.g. letters across, numbers down Excel - Excel 97 Flight to Credits 1. On a new Worksheet, Press F52. Type X97:L97 and hit enter3. Press the tab key4. Hold Ctrl-Shift5. Click on the Chart Wizard button6. Use mouse to fly around - Right button forward/ Left button reverse

If you are useing Internet Explorer then you have to go to tools:Then internet options.The 2nd tab is security.check these settings. Mediuam is ok for macro's in excel ...excel will ask you if you want to enable them.If you have the security highier then mediuam then it will stop you from enanbleing macro's.Hope that helpsPowerplayer

I wondering if any one has a excel formula that can do a skip and hit but, by a full combination (123)?I want to write a formula or vb script that will go through all my states on my excel sheet and count how many skips inbetween for each hit of a combination I specify from state to state.A push in the right direction would help also.Any help would be great!!!
