$1.537 billion Mega Millions jackpot won by 1 ticket sold in South Carolina
A common story in your link says that a woman bought it but didn't know she had to pay cash and had to leave without it and that the winner then bought that ticket. If that's true, wow just wow, she will be haunted by her error for the rest of her life.

Winners in Iowa, New York to share $687.8 million Powerball lottery jackpot
This is crazy , but in both the latest Mega and the Powerball - the lotteries OVERSTATED the prize value by $62.2+ million. To be off by 9%+ is ridiculous. Sorry but as a retired actuary I don't that you can have that margin of error on two draws in a row. In the meantime, congratulations to the winners.

Cycles - Interesting Numbers
one data point k, the categorical cross-entropy is:
Hk(pk, qk) =
XN
n=1
pk(n)log (qk(n)) (1)
With N being the number of categories (number of possible numbers, 75), pk, the target distribution
and qk the prediction from the neural network. To obtain the overall categorical cross-entropy, we
average over all data points. The optimizer used was Adam. We split the set of observations into a
training set of 892 draws and a validation set of 315 draws.

Florida: 8/1 - 8/31/2018
We all go through trial and error. I am still learning as well. The problem is sometimes I have too many number sets. The hard part for me is staying consistent, which is not easy to do. The missed 24 is not your fault. I should have turned 04 and 14 sum into 14 and 24 sums.

MD Pick 4 game had a sign saying TEST on the live drawing??
Since the Maryland Lottery published the drawn numbers on their website, I'd say it's official. The sign is obviously human error. Not confidence-inspiring, but I don't think there's much anyone can do about it.

"File claim at lottery" error on scratch off
So you learn something new everyday...and I thought I should share.
SUMMARY FOR THOSE WHO DON'T LIKE READING LONG POSTS: DON'T TRUST THE MACHINE TO CHECK YOUR TICKETS AS IF IT IS 100% ACCURATE.
So my luck usually comes in bundles, in 2016 I won $2500 (draw games) back to back 3x. In 2017, quite a few $500 winners then a $10,000 win at the end of the year (from a five dollar scratch off). So for 2018, win I won $1000 followed by $500, I though ok...time for a winning streak. So I have been
