You can use =COMBIN(number,number chosen) in excel to determine which 21 combinations of 7 numbers for a 5 play to use; I used =COMBIN(7,5) to sort my 7 numbers into 21 combinations of 5 numbers each using my Microsoft Excel worksheet. If 3 numbers match, you will win 6 out of 21 combinations, if the plays are set up to win 3 out of 5, or 3 out of 6, numbers. 6 number matches are not the same as the 6 numbers you would pick to win a lotto draw.

OK excel experts, I need help as well understanding the macro above. SirMetro was kind enough to give me this marco formula as well but I don't know where the heck to place it. Do I go to macro section of excel and add a new macro?Do I type the formula into the marco area?Do I go under record put in the above as the macro?Basically speaking, I do not know what to do with a macro but I really want to color code certain areas. HELP!!

I personally have had much better success playing my own wheels that I have created in excel.I have tried Gail Howard wheels, Steve Player systems, Professor Jones wheels, Robert Serotic wheels and the best I have done with any of those is 4 of 6 with a Robert Serotic wheel years ago. I have won 5 of 6 in the Georgia Lotto and Lotto South three times and have won numerous 4 of 6 prizes using my own Excel created wheels.Just my two cents worth.Good Luck Everyone,John - LA

In excel, right mouse click the selected cells, then select FORMAT CELLS and in the next window, select BORDERS You can then define the line weight (thickness), color, appearance, etc...Sir MetroPS: A great, inexpensive help is a book called Excel for Dummies, well written with pictures to help guide you. Found at most book stores, Walmart, etc...

I have the following formula to set up for 3 digit using pos1, pos 2, and pos 3=INT(B2/100)=INT((B2-(C2*100))/10)=INT((B2-((C2*100)+D2*10)))Can anyone tell me what formula I would add to do my 4 digit data in this manner?

excel and six number lotteries
I've looked at Bug's info and have taken a liking to it and now am trying to fit his thinking into 6 # lotteries. I have seen nothing of 6 # lotteries out there unless I've been reading on the wrong days or pages. Let me know where there is something on 6 # lotteries.
