Hi JoshUK, I also tend to just buy quick picks for the same reason you mentioned. On occasion I might pick my own numbers to change things up but that is rare.

I just get a Quick Pick every time I get a ticket, I don't play every draw and would be pretty annoyed to say the least if my numbers came up when I didn't play. Quick Picks just take out the stress of playing for me.

It's hard to say what is going to work. I do all three: play my own numbers for over 12 years, chase the lottery numbers to pick what might come out next, and do quick picks. I only know about two people that have won big by using unique numbers, and yes there could be more. That is why I'm starting to believe that the lottery looks for the least played numbers ( unique numbers ). So, I say if you can, do all three, because you really don't know if you have unique numbers that know one else has.
