Quick Pick Machines - PRNG or TRNG?Reply
Thanks Jimmy! I'm actually writing a paper that deals with PRNGs and the quick pick machines and just wanted to make sure. Although TRNGs dont really need radioactive material, one was made with a lavalamp, and the newer cheaper ones are made with radio static noise as the random event. I'll post my paper in the mathematics section soon!

Whats good or bad about "Qiuck Picks"Reply
For me, I've had better luck with quick picks. I used to play regular numbers but I couldn't even get 1 number match. So I just buy quick picks now. I've won little prizes (free ticket, $2, $7) and I match numbers more often (even if I don't win a prize). I don't think it makes a difference if you play quick pick or your own numbers. If it's your turn to win, then you'll just win.

I was thinking the same thing, I don't think it is usual for groups to hand-pick. I known of a few groups over the years and they only play quick picks. I should have been more clear, I can't wait to see the winner from each state.

hey damon let me tell you something.....thanks for taking your time to look that stuff up. i will add to it i live in the bx and i know of 3 places in the bx that have sold the 2nd place prize... 2 gas stations 1 a stationary... so you might be right. but most people play at gas stations cause when they get gas and see the sign they put a buck from gas on the lottery... so you have to factor that in.... but i would also say....go to a store and buy tickets that gives you a couple of numbers in a

I have seen strange number patterns as well. I think that there may be a correlation between the numbers in the play area, and the next ticket or two. Probably not, but you just never know.
