What is your preferred method for choosing numbers?
It was difficult to pick one selection. I chose birthdays and special dates, but I also have 2 numbers that are former quick picks. Sometimes I add a couple of quick picks, but I've cut way back and usually just play my 4 combinations twice a week. I know that many members will answer that the only reason so many quick picks win is because people buy more of them, but last night all 3 Fant 5 winners chose quick picks. On Fri evening there were 5 winners, 4 of them bought quick picks. You di

Have you ever paid for numbers?
I checked YES before reading the entire post. Every time we buy a quick pick, aren't we buying numbers? We are looking at a machine and asking it to send us the magic numbers that will make us rich!
Sorry...this topic wasn't in Mystical, so that's the way I first looked at it. I need coffee! LOL

Are You The Biggest Lottery Player In Your Family?
Yep !!!! My family makes jokes about me and stuff behind my back and in my face. Some will put out that whole one dollar on a quick pick for a 200 million pot, but I like to increase my odds a little. My mother in law will spend $100 on the big pots but she still doesn't beat me because I play every draw. I spend anywhere between $5-40 on a draw, every draw. Pb and MM. Which is seriously starting to add up!!! But with gas prices climbing again, I guess that will be the first thing to go. N

N.J. native wins $38M Calif. Lottery jackpot
indoor827....don't know what you are referring to as far as waking me up! FYI I am not a lottery offical. I have no affliation with the lottery other then a regular (four times weekly; twice each for Mega Millions and Super Lotto Plus) contributor to their coffers. Not sure where the comment the lottery was cheating plays into all of this, care to explain?
Also as far as your #01 comment he faithfully played the numbers , just to be sure all the facts are on the table, it was a quick pi

$75M Texas Lotto jackpot claimed by business partnership
Why would it be any harder for a doctor to win with a quick pick than anyone else??? Quick picks are RANDOM. Are you assuming the odds are greater because there are not as many doctors playing the lottery as blue collar workers? Every individual has an equal chance of winning, no matter what his profession is or how much he makes for a living. Do men have a greater chance of winning then women? Do White people have a greater chance of winning than Black people? If you are saying that most

Georgia Millionaire Raffle
i agree it doesnt make sense to be anti quick pick when its only 1 or 2 dollars for on ticket but then to fork over 10 dollars or 20 dollars for a raffle ticket. the odds are really bad in raffle so i dont like the lottery fooling people into thinking they are good odds because at least i know the truth going in and i choose to buy them anyway so i dont want anyone to be misled into the purchase. tennessee million madness raffle will only have 106 winners out of 800,000 tickets sold but i dont t

Stuck in the 2 number slump
This might help. I'm not sure if you use quick picks or pick your own numbers, but I was reading somewhere that when predicting the numbers for the next draw, take the numbers drawn for the current draw date and look at the last time each number was drawn and note the other numbers played that draw, and numbers within the last couple of draws. The theory is that numbers drawn together tend to come up together a good percentage of the time. I'm going to try this analysis with the CA Fantasy 5
