Am I the only one that feels entitled to a jackpot?Reply
Well, no really is entitled to a jackpot. It's a game in which numbers are chosen at random. If you win you win, and if you don't you don't. Still, I would much rather prefer that the win come from using one of my systems as opposed to a quick pick. I think if you feel you are entitled to a jackpot, then you really shouldn't be playing the game at all. If one of your family members wins the lottery, are you going to sue them because you feel you are entitled to a piece of it? I sure hope not

I think what happens is people play so many Quick Picks and then they put them aside with other papers and lose track of them, and they don't pay attention to the Lottery website announcing unclaimed prizes. This question -- about where the Quick Pick numbers are generated -- comes up almost as often as the cash vs. annuity debate. Is anyone prepared to say that the quick picks are chosen from the store terminals for ALL State lotteries? Do all lotteries release information about how many quick picks win from each terminal? Naturally, I am more interested in knowing what Michigan does but am interested in all the States as well.

One time bought a quick pick for Little Lotto (5/39), didn't hit anything on it, went to the same store the next day and the first four numbers were the same! I thought that was a little weird, still didn't hit anything though.
