Rip,
I suppose that those of us who do anything more than buying a single Quick Pick must believe that there is something more than luck to beating the lotteries. That's not to say that even one Quick Pick selection is enitirely a matter of luck, but that's about the most effortless way of actually playing the lotteries.
I've tried all kinds of things including statistical analyses, numerology, astrology, dreams, number patterns, exotic systems, complex formulas, and even methods of buying

I voted statistics and luck, but luck is 99%; statistics, timing, your time to win, hard work and study, gut feeling, random numbers, etc., all can contribute to a win.
Random numbers that are generated by the user get a bad rap. Sometimes we subconsiously do all that we can to self-destruct. If you let an RNG or a state-generated quick pick make the decision for you, you are allowing luck to be totally on your side and eliminating the self-destruction that we reap on ourselves with our own

Quick Picks
I no longer let 'their' terminal give me a quick pick ever since they gave me 32-33-34-35-36 in a 5/39 game. I have a better chance at falling into a sink hole and ending up in China then I do of hitting that combo.
But you never know, I could be speaking Chinese tomorrow.

Bonus ball bounced by Lotto Texas
I assume that if no one wins the $32 million on Saturday, the first drawing for the 6 ball format will be for $35 million or more. It would only pay to go with a Quick Pick. No back data to go on for at least 5 to 10 drawings.

Can the retailer screw up you winning?
You re not going to believe this.
So I go into the store hand over two scratch-offs which is worth $4.00 all told, a slip with two numbers and ask for two quick picks for the Texas Two Step. I receive two Texas Two Step tickets each with two numbers. I get home only to discover that instead of numbers I choose on the slip, that she gave me quick pick numbers. What was she thinking?

I hate QP's?
Quick picks is bad. Every draw it s the same thing, I think maybe today I might get some good numbers. But no I get some bad ones, 2-7-11-47-55+20. MB rarely repeats, two been in the last few draws, plus the lowest number have been low so should see high 10 s or 20 s maybe even in the 30 s as lowest number this draw. Just glad I have 2 lines of my own numbers. Just wish what silly machine would base its pick off my numbers.
