Lottery number strategies subject of newspaper investigation
In sum: The lottery cannot be beaten. Thank you Captain Obvious for that awe inspiring revelation. Most of the millions of people who line up to play the lottery did not realize this till now. These millions choose numbers based in a variety of methods: Analytical, Statistical, Physics, Mythical, Spiritual, Psychic, Astrological, Quick pick, Birth date, Wheel driven, Impulse event driven, Dream related, Self generated random numbers, Mechanical self generated random numbers, Electronic self ge

Group of same numbers for many draws.
So far today of the 5 morning draws 2 boxed pick 3 hits with the group of numbers out of 5 draws. And there are still tonight's draws to wait for, so far if played online it would had been way way ahead since friday when the test started, very good profit online even if all numbers on the group and the group of states played. My numbers rock, so far, there still is tonight and 3 more days also. All combos boxed. Even if some come out straight sometimes.Check my earlier post before this thread, the

I don't much like the scratchers.
Use to play Michigan's frequently about 10 years ago. They use to offer a lot of lower tier prizes of $500 to $50, but some wise guy decided that it was better to offer more $2-$5 prizes..duno, rocket science at its finest..but now when buying a $5 to $20 ticket there is no $500 winners ...so I haven't played them but sparingly in the last 10 years because of their lousy payoffs...not looking to win JUST my money back....waste of money....it is a cash cow that they use to bilk people out of thei

A Florida Lottery Scam??
We don't even get the knowledge of where the larger winning game tickets are sold any more from the web site. This information is always available in the Media section using the link to press releases. Last night the $10 million winner was in Tampa and used a Quick Pick. I like the way the new design shows not only the big winner, but how many people won the lower tier prizes. Before it would only show the dollar amount. There are many changes, but basically the same information is available o

The Math and The Lottery
I guess the only reason I use a Quick Pick is so I can block the numbers out after I quickly check them online. For some stupid reason (fear mostly) I've been playing the same 2 sets of 6 numbers in FL for many years. 4 of the 6 numbers are the same too. If I go out of town, I'll purchase advanced play tickets. I keep thinking that, although they might never hit, if I make a change they might come up and there's not enough Valium in the world that would calm me down, if I didn't drop dead insta

Winning Coincidences?
OK - here you go. I was on my last dollar, when I borrowed twenty-five cents from four people on the subway. Then I hitched a ride to the local lottery store and bought a ticket. It was a Quick Pick, because I can't count. The $225M will keep me out of the dumpster for several weeks. For Christmas I will spread flowers over the grave of the only friend I ever had. He died at the age of 87, riding a hummer. He would have lived longer if he had liked General Motor products.

Mistakes
There's a book on lotteries that I got from the library that was very informative. I forget the title but I would recommend it to anyone. Anyway, the author doesn't believe in any number picking system and believes that quick pick is the way to go. He also mentioned that mistake tickets seemed to be very lucky. It was rather tongue in cheek, but he said that if you really want to win, buy up all the mistake tickets. I did that for this MM draw, so I'm hoping one of these mistake tickets does

Play a little often or a LOT rarely?
I play at least ONE quick pick for ever Powerball drawing, no matter what. If it's at least $125 million, I play two; if it's at least $250 million, I play three. As for Mega Millions, I only play when that pot is at least $250 million, and Powerball is under $250 million, since it's not in the state where I live, and I never buy more than one ticket per drawing for that game. I only live two miles from IL, but I feel I have better luck sticking to just one game instead of switching to whic

Characteristics of most winning numbers ?
You crack me up! What's your ratio of draws played to draws won, pattern-master? Are the patterns in your imagination? The function of the human brain is to try to fit its sensory input to some pattern. I see patterns too, but they usually change sometime between when I buy my tickets and when I check the results.I usually add a couple quickpicks when I play because they are 'unbiased' draws, as opposed to my own randomly picked, but arbitrarily filtered draws. My overall hit-miss is about the s

The RIGGED Jackpot (PB & MM) Computers!
Barista, it does not apply to games where computers draw the numbers. It simply means that the number of combinations players buy are duplicates, despite the common assumption that your quick pick is yours alone selected just for you! Thus, if you buy $50. quickpicks, maybe 38 or more were sold to others because the computer is not programmed to spit out all the POSSIBLE combinations. Does everyone feel happy that the money they've spent is uniquely theirs ?Of course, the people behind the
