Hi, Even though I really enjoy your posts, I have my own agenda of concepts and ideas to be verified by backtesting. The reason I enjoy your posts so much is that you bring alot of new ideas or a reminder of some of the older ideas with a new twist. And even though they are not all my cup of tea, I'm sure they have value to other members at the LP. The only questions that always seem to come to mind when I read your posts are....How well did it work for you? or Did you spend the time to see

Did you notice that my call to Randomize in my example simulation was made ONCE, at the top of the program, to allow for code testing? Your references to Randomize and the System Clock are really not very transparent. You said earlier that your sequences were repeating too often but you've ignored my links which provide you with random numbers that would solve all of your problems. BobP has a lot of very good material stemming from the many years he has spent writing about lotteries and I'd be surprised if he didn't recommend some testing before using it. Tests like that are contemplation testing. It provides a chance to get a feel for how the method works and to get accustomed to using it. Yes. I do tests like that as well. 973 Midday... Well that's 2 more straight for that last batch - 940 and 973 Unfortunately for this test, I finally got a day off and did some backtesting this morning and the results are in. From 4/13/2001 to 5/14/11 this strategy yeilded 45 straight hits and 18 total misses. Assuming someone was playing online for $1 per number and a $900 straight win, you would have won $11,070, but you would have bet a total of 11,772 for a net loss of $702. Playing around with the caculator found that by using the square root system i was able to find the next hit 75% of the time. Does not work to well with dubbs. but... In backtesting i started with the 590 hit from 4/19 mid. Entered 590 and hit the squareroot key and got. 24.289915 and found 4/20's mid hit 194 with the 91 and 4 places to the left the 4. Than i entered 611 from the 4/21 mid and got... 24.718414 the 781 4/22 hit. than i entered the 422 hit from the 4/23

Hi Jorli - I hope you don't mind if I post here.... I've been doing some backtesting with MI on something, and wanted to share it with you all. This golden shortbox, over the past month, has either pulled of a pair or the actual number 50% of the time. Please use it against your own workouts. I hope this helps with the winning combo...
