Suggested QP VS Choosing Survey Project
Okay CT, I am also seeing just as many non-QP winners. The thing about pick-5 here is that you can win over $250k or end up with $25,000 if there are multiple winners. Rarely is there more than one winner in Lotto or MegaMoney, but of course the jackpots are much higher the odds are much greater. All the games cost a dollar. I guess I just need to decide on which game I'm going to waste my dollar.
So far since Sunday

Teach and Learn , How do you come up with your number?
I could never win on the lottery games, not on any of them, not ever, not even once, untill I learned how to use the statistics of filters patterns for making pick 3 predictions.
I never won anything with quick picks nor with Luck , the Luck is in using the stats right.
I only believe in statistical predictions.

Give or take all
First of all I voted that it's none of my business. After all, people give millions of dollars away all the time, whether it's to family members, charities or they blow it on toys. Just read the celebrity gossip. I would care if the money was donated to a terrorist group however! What about an organization like the Ku Klux Klan or a hate group? What about $200 million to a drug dealer or child porn distributor?

Let's Have Fun: Predictions for 2008 (Not number predictions)
*Todd will add a quick pick feature to the LP lottery results gadget for Vista's sidebar - and will discover it has connected itself to the computer generated lotteries - and this new gadget is psychic- it can predict what numbers are going to come up! However the winning numbers it gives are only given 15 minutes before the draw - so no one can get to the store fast enough to use them.
*Some one on LP will win a gigantic lottery jackpot - and will never be heard from again.
*Someone car

Not quite the information, but it's in the right direction.
I can see that gathering actual total counts for Quick Pick data may be beyond your reach. If I'm prying too much, just let me know. From your reply in another topic, and I'm paraphrasing, you said that you usually get a $1.00 play; maybe $2.00 if the jackpot is high enough. I can also assume these are Quick Picks because of the obvious headline of this topic and other posts you've made. Some questions I would have to ask are, 'Do yo

Do new games cannibalize other games?
I think a great many lottery players are budget gamblers.
They play the new game they will probably cut back on the other games.
Unless you are a die hard pick 3 player.
You would have to just about break my arm for me to spend more than $2.00 on powerball quick picks.

Suggested QP VS Choosing Survey Project
Tracking but tracking jackpot winners as far as was the winning ticket a quick pick or a set of numbers someone played, not what the numbers were.
In other words, at the end of this little experiment hopefully we'll have several states and games and it will look like:
Illinois Little Lotto, 32 draws, 13 jackpots, 9 were quick picks, 4 were not.

The Implications of Cracking the Code..
tapper,
70% of lottery players agree with your statement Lottery has nothing to do with logical reasoning , that's the reason they buy quick picks. As you sensed, many LP posters think they can improve their odds of winning by using a strategy or software to pick their numbers which may be partly based on the results of previous drawings. So what is news about that?
What would you expect lottery players on a lottery forum to discuss? Even players who buy quick picks come here to s

Is it worth buying a large number of tickets once a year?
If you only play once a year what will the quality of your number picks be like? I suspect we're talking about 1040 Quick Picks or a big wheel which wouldn't even guarantee 4if6 playing all the numbers, just multiple 3# prizes from Pick-6.
My personal opinion is the optimal play is wheeling 12 numbers whether it be 2 lines, 6 lines, 22 lines or 38 lines per draw. The 2 line wheel guarantees 2-3# prizes. The 6 line wheel guarantees a 4# prize. The 22 line wheel wins either a 5# prize or 9-4#
