Quick Picks Vs. Number Selection

Quick Picks Vs. Number Selection
According to Powerball.com website in the new/info. section faq.....70% of winning tickets are quick/easy picks, including the jackpot. They also state that 70% of all Powerball ticket sales are quick picks. It could be that the number of winning quick picks is due to the number of quick pick tickets purchased. However, the only way this could be true is if the Powerball lottery system purposely allows a specified number of winning tickets per drawing. If no one played quick picks would ther

Buckeye 5
I know exactly what you mean about the generator producing bad combinations. I'd say for every 10 quick picks, you get about 3 dead combinations. At least in my case it has. Or like you said, ones that are very similiar to previous drawings. If I were to drop $80 on the Buckeye 5,I'd have to go with quick picks simply because there's no way I'm gonna fill out all those bet cards. LOL. Now,however,if I was going to put $10-$20 on it,I'd probably take the time out and pick my own numbers which

Best way to predict numbers
Quote: Originally posted by prob987 on April 08, 2004My system works reasonably well. I win at about the expected rate for the number of tickets I buy.Quick picks can actually fall somewhat below the expected rate under certain circumstances. There is, however small, some probability, equal to the odds of winning, that if you buy two quickpicks, you will actually get exactly the same numbers, for instance, the computer might give you 7-10-13-16-19 with a megaball of 22 twice. In this case y

Co-owner of Pizza House claims $100,000 lottery prize
Just because Stacy Varellas of North Adams won $100,000 last week, that doesn't mean she'll be leaving the Pizza House business she co-owns with her husband, Jim.In fact, they won't be changing much at all. It's not a small amount, but it's not such a big amount, she said Wednesday while working at the Adams Pizza House. It's not a million, but it's definitely nice. While Varellas sounds calm now, she was ecstatic to hear on the radio last Wednesday morning that she had the winning numbers of

What is a system supposed to do to be a system ?Good Luck!I suspect the definition of a lottery system is whatever you do that ends with a lottery ticket in your hand at the completion of the process. I've heard people say their . . . system is buying a Quick Pick. I'd say a lottery system is instruction (hopefully step by step) in how to convert lottery information into playable ticke

Would you tell or not?
St. Germain,Unless I missed it somewhere, how much were the jackpots? Is your system an easy one. Can you give me some hints on what to do? I play PowerBall. I have a theory that it's mathmatical. I've been working at it for over a year now. I pick my own numbers and hardly ever do quick picks. I haven't won anything more than $7, but have come so close sometimes that it's not even funny. For a minute there, my family and friends thought I was losing it. I would spend so much time trying
