A different look at Pick 3 and pick 4
Lately I've been doing a lot of work with vertical differnces. I analyze then in different ways. This will help you narrow down your future choices for picks. You can do the roots, odd /even sums, perecentages blah, blah blah until the cows come home, and you can still be way off with your picks.
Here is an example from recent draws in NM. Narrow down, don't chase numbers.
My new Vertical System with +567 hit right away after I posted it for the first time. I'm finding in backtesting many st

The first page of this thread example:

Add the digits left to right. The first 2 digits:7+1=8, the next two:1+1=2, and the outer digits: 7+1=8.
Then do a +235 rundown after the 828.

RL's Digit Master Pro Big Game software download.

Pls accept my apologies. I meant Neural Network and should have put in its full name.
RL thanks for stepping in and explaining things.
As to RLP and not RAC which is a different kind of reduction these are the steps I take when backtesting:
1. I reset all the filters
2. Right click on RLP and get the sets generated
3. Check them against the draw
4. Remove a draw
5. Right click on RLP
6.Same as 3
etc.
When I want to play the game using RLP then I left cl

Lakerben has a really nice system he developed here:

I did some backtesting in NJ for the month of May with little success using PI as the divisor. There is also another divisor (sqrt3) that I will go back and test as well to see if the outcome is different.
While testing his system, I noticed that a LOT of times, the winning combo was off by one digit up or down. Using Lucky's 1up/1down system here on LP was able to capture the winning combo qu

What do you consider a good test of your system?
m-m
I agree backtesting has no real value in regards to what happends next. I only use it for testing
software.
I do track the stats for every filter, etc.. that I use but just to see how well the draws follow the
matrix. I am the digit man so to speak and do well using them as my primary filter. My software
includes many options from a full wheel to a filtered RNG. I may be posting a download link for the
newest version but it only includes power ball and mega millions games.

Handicapping The Pick 4
Hi Lottoburg:
Sorry for the delay in answering.
You pose a very good point. I'd never profess playing all of the selections generated by each key, because over a period of 10 days you'd likely win no more than a box payoff, per each set of selections . Here's what I would suggest, and this needs verification, which could only come from a good amount of backtesting. You either pick one or two keys and go with the selections generated from those keys or do something along the following lines

Revisiting Reference #s and Index #s
I've found that the Feathers System in the What so special about this number thread by Idesire$ returns similar pairs that are found in the index and rb. Close! Interesting. And, the rundown is quick and simple.
I do a page of workouts with this method and it shows some pairs in backtesting. Do a full page of at least the past 10 and it show future pairs.

PICK 4,5,6 Cracked - New System
Again I must not be expaining myself to well. The numbers that we would plug into the system would be our numbers this would have nothing to do with coming up with the numbers.
My example add in numbers try to explain the usefulness of a program like this. I had to add in the other numbers to try to explain and again I guess poorly. Your absolutly correct in the that if you have the correct numbers you win period thats why I actually said I may toss out the winning combo using this type of pr

'Key and offset' system for Pick 3/4
Thanks much for the feedback, LOVEZ2PLAY$!! Looks like using consecutive draws (mid + eve) is a good way to go and playing for two draws. I'm going to take another look at my state (IL) using the mixed draws and playing picks for two draws. Initially I was having better success when keeping the draws separate, but admittedly I didn't get too deep into backtesting the comparison.
Just a note on the pick 4...I was applying the system to pick 4 drawing results, not the pick 3 draws.
